(hereinafter referred to as Jinyu Group) jointly announced that the two parties have decided to deepen strategic cooperation, and the respective Taiji (Yingde) Cement Co., Ltd. and Tangshan Jidong Cement Co., Ltd. set up a joint venture project in Daixian Industrial Park, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province to accelerate the low-carbon transformation and green and sustainable development of the cement industry.
According to friendly negotiations between the two parties, the joint venture was established by the joint investment of both parties, of which Tangshan Jidong Cement Co., Ltd. accounts for 60% of the shares and Taici (Yingde) Cement Co., Ltd. accounts for 40% of the shares. After the joint venture is established, it plans to acquire assets related to a 4500t/d clinker and cement production line of Daixian Hongwei Cement Co., Ltd.
Based on the common concept of both parties in the field of circular economy, the joint venture will build an intelligent factory with an international leading level, and actively implement environmental protection projects such as green mines, environmental standardization and coordinated disposal of cement kilns, implement the national "dual carbon" goal, and lead the optimization and upgrading of Shanxi's cement industry.
Jinyu Group's environmental protection industry is in a leading position in China. At present, its hazardous waste, domestic sludge and polluted soil disposal businesses cover more than a dozen provinces and cities across the country.
It is understood that Taini Group has made great achievements in this field. The Taini Anshun Cement Kiln Coordinated Disposal of Domestic Waste Project was put into operation in 2015 and was selected as the 2016 pilot demonstration project of cement kiln Coordinated Disposal of Solid Waste of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In May 2019, the project of Guigang Taiwan Nidongyuan Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. used cement kilns to coordinate the disposal of solid waste (330,000 tons/year) officially started. After completion, it will form an annual capacity of 300,000 tons of solid hazardous waste and 30,000 tons of municipal sludge, which is the largest single plant in China so far. In addition, there are also many environmental protection projects in Taini Jingzhou Factory, Jurong Factory and Shaoguan Factory.
It is reported that Taiwan Ni Group and Jinyu Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement during the 2019 Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Purple Mountain Summit. The two sides aim to jointly promote the optimization layout and transformation, upgrading and development of the cement industry, actively explore long-term cooperation in the fields of environmental protection industry, equipment manufacturing, new materials and intelligent manufacturing, and work together to explore and establish a new development model of mutual benefit and win-win results for cross-strait enterprises.
This time, the two parties work together to layout the Shanxi market and will combine their respective technical advantages in the field of environmental protection to create a demonstration project for green and low-carbon cooperation between cross-strait cement enterprises.
