Industrial wastewater contains a large amount of difficult-to-degrade or toxic and harmful substances, which inhibit microorganisms in biological treatment systems. In addition, the treatment pressure of industrial wastewater is relatively high. Wang Xiu and others carried out feasibility study on the mixing treatment of the second sedimentation tank of pharmaceutical plants and urban sewage. Through mixing different proportions and adding pre-oxidation and filtration processes, the process conditions, optimal introduction points and process points under different proportions are determined. Related research mainly focuses on the impact of a certain wastewater on the effect of urban sewage treatment, as well as the optimization of process parameters for the coordinated treatment of the two.

On the one hand, some sewage treatment plants can only accept domestic sewage, and through standardized design and operation, use the minimum investment to achieve the best treatment effect, save energy and reduce consumption. This part of the technology is relatively mature and reliable;

Experimental research found that:

(1) After the industrial wastewater was mixed into the G sewage treatment plant, the removal and nitration of the aerobic sections OUR and COD were not significantly affected; after the aerobic sections and anaerobic sections were mixed into the industrial wastewater, the hypoxic sections and anaerobic sections did not show denitrification and phosphorus release effects, but the control group also did not show the function of nitrogen removal and phosphorus removal, which could not indicate that industrial wastewater inhibited the function of nitrogen removal and phosphorus removal.

(2) After the industrial wastewater is mixed in the N sewage treatment plant, the removal of OUR, COD and nitration of the aerobic section are not significantly affected; the denitrification of the hypoxic section can also be carried out, but the rate is slightly reduced and nitrite accumulates slightly; the phosphorus release of the anaerobic section after mixing into the industrial wastewater may be affected, which may be due to the high concentration of nitrate nitrogen , or the precipitation of the calcium, aluminum, and copper plasma in the wastewater reacts with the phosphate , which affects the experimental results. Ideal treatment effects can be achieved by adjusting the process operation mode, water distribution mode, etc.

(3) The feasibility of coordinated treatment of industrial wastewater and urban sewage depends more on the original reliability, maturity and operational stability of urban sewage treatment processes. When the functions of urban sewage treatment processes are complete at all levels, after industrial wastewater reaches the emission standards after a certain treatment, it is feasible to treat with urban sewage in a coordinated manner. The best conditions can be obtained by further optimizing operating parameters.
