Preface: On July 29, the "Regulations on Police Auxiliary Personnel of Public Security Organs of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Organs" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") was voted and passed at the 27th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Fifth Municipal People's Congress and will come into effect on September 1, 2021. The Regulations are divided into seven chapters and 44 articles, which clarify the legal status of police auxiliary personnel, clarify their responsibilities and authority, and make provisions on the supervision and management of police auxiliary personnel and professional guarantees, providing legal guarantees for standardizing the management of auxiliary police, ensuring that auxiliary police perform their duties in accordance with the law, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of auxiliary police.
To this end, the Yongchuan District Public Security Bureau will launch a series of reports on "Auxiliary Police are by Your Side" to show the indispensable auxiliary role of auxiliary police in public security work from a point to the surface.

Since becoming an auxiliary police officer at Da'an Police Station in 2017, Ni Yi has worked in the office and community. With the spirit of not being afraid of "noise" or trouble, Ni Yi has been working hard to solve various problems for the masses.

A few days ago, Ms. Li came to Da'an Police Station with a sad face to consult about her son's ID card. After the auxiliary police officer Ni Yi who was receiving the front desk informed the procedure, she saw Ms. Li turn around worriedly, and he was "verbose" and asked habitually: Is there anything wrong with getting a certificate so anxious? After replying to the word "treatment", Ms. Li hurriedly walked out of the police station. Ni Yi quickly chased after him and continued to ask: What disease does the child have? After hearing this, Ms. Li's tears fell down and she calmed down her emotions and told her son Xiao Chen that she was suffering from leukemia and that she urgently needed an ID card to apply for medical insurance. Ni Yi thought of it instantly: Leukemia patients have decreased immunity and are easily infected, and they have risks in public places. So, I immediately spoke: Wait, I will report to the leaders of the institute and strive to come to you for your certificate!
An hour later, Ni Yi and the police came to Ms. Li's home. Because Xiao Chen has undergone three chemotherapy sessions and is very weak. Ni Yi carefully supported him and leaned against the head of the bed, and cooperated with the police to take a photo of the ID. Five days later, he came to Ms. Li again to deliver the ID. "This young man is really a scheming person. If he didn't ask more questions, I would take the risk to take the child out to apply for an ID card. I really don't know how to thank him." Ms. Li said in emotion.
"Xiao Ni who is not afraid of trouble"
"Ask more questions for work" like this has become a habit of Ni Yi. "Many people are very restrained when they come to the police station and are often embarrassed to directly talk about the difficulties. We should take the initiative to ask more questions," said Ni Yi.
In June this year, the public called the police and said that his 14-year-old daughter Xiao Mo ran away from home and could not be contacted. Xiao Mo was at home because of a conflict with his classmates and had a conflict with his parents, so he simply turned off his phone and ran away from home. Because of the rebellious period of youth, and the parents are busy with work, the parent-child relationship is tense and there is very little communication, the police asked about the situation, and the parents were unable to provide more effective information, so they were in a dilemma when they found Xiao Mo. Ni Yi still habitually asked a few more questions, continued to talk to Xiao Mo's father, and asked about the child's daily life. Finally, he learned that Xiao Mo had sent a text message on his classmate's mobile phone. Ni Yi quickly called his classmate's phone and got a QQ account that Xiao Mo had used for a long time. Ni Yi sent multiple verification messages in succession to show his identity and concern. Two hours later, Xiao Mo finally got an echo and turned to communicate with WeChat. At first, Xiao Mo was determined and claimed that he "didn't want to go home and cut off relations with his parents." Ni Yi turned to stop talking about going home, and talked to Xiao Mo about topics she was interested in and listened patiently to her. Slowly, Xiao Mo finally opened his heart, indicating that he was in a certain place in Shapingba. The next day, I returned home successfully.
"This is the fourth child I have found to run away from home. If you want to say what you have, you should help them open the knot in your heart when picking up the children and avoid running away from home again. And how to resolve this "knot in your heart"? We need to ask more questions and understand what children fear, disgust, and rejection, tell their parents to strengthen care and provide education and guidance for their children. The content of various reports was complicated and time required. Ni Yi, who was helpless, took root in the offices of various agencies. If he didn't understand, he stayed in the office and "catched" others to ask questions, asked the standards and requirements clearly, and figured out the details one by one until the other party closes off work.
Because there are many street companies, in order to better serve the company, Ni Yi goes to the company during the day and works overtime at night to summarize information. The one with the most problems in the work group is also this "insider Xiao Ni". Soon, Ni Yi became proficient in the requirements and reporting system for various information collection, and was able to complete the report in a timely and efficient manner every time, which was unanimously praised by leaders and colleagues.
