Based on the new development stage, trade unions at all levels in the mechanical, metallurgy and building materials system must accurately grasp the new tasks and requirements, conscientiously perform all responsibilities, further boost confidence, overcome difficulties, and play a greater role in serving the overall work of the Party and the country and the overall work of the trade union.

The "Employee Skill Training and Job Training Online Platform" has trained a total of 300,000 people, with a duration of more than 500,000 hours; a national team leader management skills competition was held in the machinery and non-ferrous metals industry team leader management skills competition, with more than 200,000 participating team leaders, and training classes for team leader quality improvement have been held many times to effectively improve the skills and comprehensive management level of team leader. In addition, mass economic and technological innovation activities are booming in the mechanical smelting building materials industry, and employees have achieved fruitful results in economic and technological innovation. Trade unions at all levels continue to carry out evaluation activities on the science and technology awards of the machinery and steel industry (workers' groups), front-line workers in the gold industry, and the technology innovation awards of the building materials industry. In five years, a total of 226 outstanding innovation achievements were recommended and selected.
