Dry goods - Today shared: The process of labor protection gloves when applying for EU CE certification and the price cycle that everyone cares about the most
On April 21, 2018, the new PPE regulation Regulation (EU) 2016/425 was officially implemented, replacing the previous PPE directive 89/686/EEC. This change in PPE regulations is the largest regulatory process reform in more than 20 years. Not only do manufacturers need to strictly abide by Regulation (EU) 2016/425, but their obligations and responsibilities to dealers are also increased.
instruction divides PPE into three categories according to the risk level of product intention protection: Class I PPE only protects against mild risks, such as gardening gloves. Class II PPE protection moderate risk, such as mechanical gloves. Category III PPE protects severe risks, such as fire gloves.
All categories of PPE must be tested according to the corresponding standards to prove that they comply with the requirements of the PPE directive. Class II and III PPE products must also be certified by designated institutions.
