Penthouse of the top floor of Porsche Building
This penthouse of the luxury Porsche Design skyscraper in Sunshine Island, Florida is tailor-made by Hino Design Studio. Almost unnecessary but meticulously crafted elements leave space for the magnificent view of the ocean.
"Homeowners are looking for a unique house with a unique collection of artworks and furniture, and in fact, it's very easy for us to place them in this wonderful penthouse." Sabrina MacLean and her mother said, "This apartment is one of the many vacation homes of the homeowners, they are a couple with a beautiful teenage daughter from Mexico City , and they have multiple companies in various fields such as real estate, manufacturing, and more.
Hino Studio started designing the apartment from the ground floor, redesigning all the spaces to accommodate larger suites, reconsidering better layouts of the bathroom and kitchen, and creating an open environment for interacting with the outside world. “One of the most important requirements of the client is to create a very special space for her daughter so that she can be private while having a happy time with her friends”.
"We are committed to creating an apartment that stands the test of time but is bold enough to add personality and uniqueness while always considering the functions and needs of the client, the layout of the apartment is very curved, so we decided to design the terrace so that it includes all the public areas to create a smooth and continuous solution. "Sabrina MacLea continued.
In this project, the neutral color palette stands out among accessories, artworks and other small details. "The area where we use bold colors is the area for our daughter to use. In this space, we want to really get creative and get out of the comfort zone of colors and materials”, the designer revealed.
"We are crazy for the interior, mixing mid-century iconic works with modern furniture and accessories, we travel the world in search of a unique piece of furniture and art.
For many years, our styles have mostly been contemporary. We love buying unique pieces from the mid-century to have conversations between furniture, we love clean, asymmetric and minimalist designs, each of our projects has unique characteristics and supports the personality of our clients, Sabrina MacLea concluded, “We focus on proportions, luxury materials and meticulous details.”
