December 1, 2021 is the 34th "World AIDS Day". In order to further publicize and popularize AIDS prevention knowledge, reduce discrimination against AIDS infected persons, and popularize AIDS prevention and control knowledge. Promote the prevention and control of AIDS and tuberculosis in schools, and create a good atmosphere for teachers and students to actively participate in AIDS prevention and control. On December 1, the Taoyuan Community Health Service Center of Lianhu District joined hands with Shaanxi Taoli Culinary College and Xidian Middle School to carry out the publicity campaign of "Life First, End of AIDS, Health Equality".
The event site is carried out through hanging banners, distributing AIDS brochures and small gifts. Zhang Haiyan, a specialist in disease control, publicizes and explains the ways to spread AIDS and how to prevent AIDS, introduces basic common sense such as the ways to spread AIDS and preventive methods, and enhances everyone's awareness of self-protection. Health education specialists and tuberculosis specialists introduce the students to the common symptoms of tuberculosis, what conditions require tuberculosis screening, how schools need to prevent it as a good place for tuberculosis, etc. Through publicity, students can master relevant knowledge on AIDS and tuberculosis prevention and control, improve students' self-protection awareness and skills for AIDS and AIDS, advocate positive youth concepts and civilized and healthy lifestyles, and promote the healthy physical and mental development of students.
This publicity activity included about 500 teachers and students, and a total of nearly 1,000 brochures were distributed.
