State information about the mistaken vaccination of Huitong Community Health Service Center
On the morning of January 30, 2019, a vaccinated doctor at Huitong Community Health Service Center in Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City mistakenly used the HIB vaccine as a penta-connected vaccine when vaccinating a child. After the situation occurred, the provincial, municipal and district health departments immediately organized personnel to conduct an investigation.
1. The vaccines from the community health service center are received and purchased from the district disease control center. The purchase channels are formal and there are no quality problems with the vaccine.
2. The HIB vaccine is treated as a five-union vaccine and will not cause harm to children's health. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will combine immune procedures to achieve the same immune effect.
3. In view of the problem of irregular vaccination registration in the center, the public security and health departments are conducting further investigation and handling. At the same time, the vaccination units in the whole district will be investigated immediately to prevent such problems from happening again.
