China Taiwan Network Beijing, September 28 (Reporters Zhang Ling, Cao Shuaibing, Fu Haichuan) On the evening of September 27, the 2020 Beijing-Taiwan Community Mid-Autumn Festival Cultural Stage Event was held simultaneously in , Xicheng District, Beijing and Kaohsiung, Taiwan via video link. The event is themed "The bright moon sends lovesickness thousands of miles away", and residents of communities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are invited to perform and interact with each other to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival together. Community residents have been engaged in the first time since the Desheng Street, Dashilan Street, Dashilan Street, and Zuoying District and Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan due to the epidemic.
At the Beijing venue, Taiwanese students from the Central Conservatory of Music came from the school to participate in interactive performances and exchanged greetings to the villagers in Kaohsiung, Taiwan through video. Through the big screen, they saw their familiar hometown and heard their familiar accent. The students' instrumental ensemble "Taiwan Suite" resonated with the Taiwanese venue, and Taiwanese compatriots followed and hummed and became intoxicated. The Guzheng duo "Moonlight" is beautiful and charming. As soon as the single-string performance with Beijing characteristics appeared, it won praise from Taiwanese audiences. Several aunts, who are in their average age of 70, have a gentle and loud voice and upright posture, singing about the life of old Beijing and the spiritual outlook of new Beijingers. A song "Seeing the Smoke Again" familiar to the people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, the classic love song is warm and reappears, bringing the hearts of the residents on both sides of the Taiwan Straits closer.
