This is a poem by Zhuang Junyuan, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, to praise Mazu.
Southeast coast Mazu believes in , and its culture can be traced back to the Song Dynasty; and from the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, it was prosperous. To this day, with the footsteps of Chinese people, temples have spread overseas, forming a situation where the so-called "there are Chinese people where there are sea waters, and the Chinese have Mazu everywhere." It can be seen that Mazu's belief is not just a kind of praise, but a trust deeply rooted in the hearts of many people.
Mazu, whose original name is Lin Mo, was a woman from Meizhou, Putian, Fujian during the Northern Song Dynasty. He was smart since childhood, and when he grew up, he was proficient in medical principles and always had a kind heart to save the world and the people. On September 9, when he was 28 years old, he unfortunately died in order to save the ship in distress at sea and ascended to heaven. In less than 200 years later, he began to receive imperial edicts from the official family, and from the "Lady Chongfu" to the later "Holy Mother of Heaven", he passed through four dynasties, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and a total of 14 emperors. During the Kangxi period, he was officially included in the national sacrificial ceremony to protect the country and the people, and the holy traces were evident.
Only the people always call this sea god "Mazu"; the Lin clan in Taiwan lives as descendants of Mazu - after all, this sea god who combines love and courage, goodness and wisdom, beauty and sincerity is compassionate and friendly to the people in people's hearts, just like Guanyin Bodhisattva.

In Guangzhou, there is also a Mazu temple: Nansha days harem .
The land of Nansha is close to Lingdingyang, looking east at Humen Fortress, and the two are only separated by a river; Tianhou Palace is built on the southern foot of Dajiao Mountain in Nansha, facing the sea estuary. The temple buildings are hierarchical and stairs, extending the mountains and outwards.
In addition, the building scale is very magnificent: one is the large area of land, covering an area of 100 hectares; the other is the unique geography, facing the mountains and the sea, high and down, with the same color as the water and the sky. The Tianhou Palace is precisely because of Mazu's righteousness and universal merits that auspiciousness and auspiciousness are accumulated between mountains and seas, thus protecting the people. Nansha belongs to the southernmost area of Guangzhou, and it takes about 1.5 hours to drive from the city.

The five words "Nansha Tianhou Temple" on the archway are written by Zhao Puchu, chairman of the Religious Association. This is the core of the entire Tianhou Palace, with a double-eaved wing roof, five ridges and six beasts, and a brilliant palace, showing the royal architecture style. The statue of Mazu in the hall is enshrined in the camphor tree carvings, gold-painted, elegant and luxurious. It is worth mentioning that there are eight civil officials and military generals arranged on both sides of the statue, and they are historical figures related to the legend of the queen of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
The breeze is blowing, and the quiet atmosphere in the hall makes people hold their breath and concentrate.Thinking about the various legends related to Mazu's spiritual traces over the past thousand years: when she came in response to the sound, she saved the fishermen in times of crisis; or held a sword to kill the sea monsters in the vast sea; even related to national justice and protect Shi Lang from regaining Taiwan; holding jade, Ruyi in his hand, walked on the waves, and wandering the world.
Compared with the majesty of the main hall, the bedroom is particularly quiet in the swaying shadows of trees.
As the last palace of Tianhou Palace, the bedroom not only worships Mazu's simple seating statue, but also displays Mazu's daily living supplies. There are both looms, bookcases, guqins, tables and chairs, dressing tables and beds; the layout is vivid and realistic. This seems to remind that Mazu first exists as a personality, an ordinary woman, flesh and blood; then it is sublimated into a divine existence. From this perspective, Mazu's image may be more distinct and closer.
Outside the bedroom hall, there is a stone stairs leading to the Nanling Tower of the Back Mountain. Nanling Tower, eight stories high. The pagodas of Chinese temples are usually nine floors; while the pagodas of female gods are eight floors. This is not an unwritten rule, but because in our country, nine are used as yang numbers, representing Qian; eight are used as yin numbers, representing Kun. Therefore, the Nanling Tower of Tianhou Palace is eight stories high, which may represent the silent elegance of the "Holy Mother of Tianhou" Kunde.
Standing on the back mountain, you can overlook the large area of Nansha or view the sea from afar. The rising free trade zone buildings and the endless stream of Nansha Port docks are full of eyes. The Nanling Tower stands on the back mountain. For those ships sailing on the sea, whether by the port or offshore, it is always like a lighthouse, which settles the hearts of shipwrecks; and for those pilgrims who come here to see the tower, seeing the Mazu Temple is also close.

The clear sky is swam without traces, and the mountain breeze is gentle and without traces.
On Dajiao Mountain, in addition to Tianhou Palace, there is also the Dajiao Mountain Fort site, which corresponds to the Humen Fort site. The ruins opened by

The current fort ruins are less popular and are remote from all sides. A hundred years ago, he participated in the Opium War and later the Anti-Japanese War; the rumored soldiers of the Hunan Army were stationed here. After all, heroes are the most respectable and history is the heaviest.
And fate makes these ruins live in the same mountain as Tianhou Palace. I believe that Mazu's heart is the same as the hearts of the four people - An Lanli fortune, harmony among the four seas, and pursuit of the whole world.
