Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in early summer, the peaks are leaping, and the breeze is cool. Winding along the winding mountain road, the reporter came to Donggeer Community, Zeku County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, the largest immigration resettlement site.
Here are rows of Tibetan courtyards lined up one after another, neatly arranged. Walking into the home of Ye Ze, a resident of the community, the certificates covered with awards on both walls of the living room were particularly eye-catching.

"This is the youngest son won the outstanding class leader, and this is the daughter won the second place in the final exam..." When talking about the children, the father Ye Ze looked proud.
"The eldest son started his career at the door of his home after graduating from university. His daughter was admitted to Qinghai University this year with the third place in art major in the province..." Sitting on the sofa in her new home, she talked to the reporter about her life. Ye Ze couldn't help but sigh: "This day was something I didn't expect three years ago!"
Ye Ze was originally from Tuanjie Village, Xibusha Township, Zeku County. His family of five lived in the pasture for half their lives, relying on more than a dozen cows and government subsidies to make a living. Due to harsh living conditions, fragile ecological environment, and family difficulties, they are unable to build a house. In October 2017, their family moved to the current Donggele Community in Zeku County and completely bid farewell to the life of living by pursuing water and grass.

"In the past, this road from school to home took three hours. Now it only takes ten minutes to get from the community to school." Ye Ze's daughter Zhuo Gacuo couldn't help but sigh.
In Zhuo Gacuo's memory, not only did he go to school far, but he had to walk half an hour of mountain road to get water at home. Zhuo Gacuo said that since childhood, his brother taught her and her brother to study hard, strive to get out of the mountains earlier and let their parents live a good life.
Like Ye Zejia, there are many more areas in Zeku , which is mainly based on pure animal husbandry. The natural conditions are harsh, the infrastructure is imperfect, the industrial structure is single, and the economic development is lagging. It can be said that the diversity of causes of poverty has led to the fact that the land and water cannot support the people.
Faced with this situation, the Zeku County Government deeply realized that only large-scale poverty alleviation relocation can be implemented to move the poor, change the appearance, change the poor industry, and eliminate the root of poverty. Since 2017, 713 households and 2618 poor people from 15 administrative villages in 4 townships, including Zequ Town, Ningxiu Township, , Xibusha Township, etc. have moved into Geer Community one after another.
"We must be 'stable' when moving in." Zhaxiga, deputy director of Zeku County Poverty Alleviation Bureau, said that in order to promote employment by taking multiple measures from the past nomadic life to the current stable settlement in the county town, the local area has established an ecological animal husbandry cooperative and provided public welfare positions for poor households.
Nowadays, Ye Ze's family not only has a comfortable living environment, but their income has also doubled. "My son works in a township government and can earn 1,800 a month. His wife works in a restaurant near the community, 2,500 a month. With the money earned by odd jobs, it's no problem to have 80,000 or 90,000 a year." After counting this income, Ye Ze smiled and smiled.
There is a school when going out, there is a bus when going to the county town, a hospital when seeing a doctor, and then looking at the squares, sports fields, parks, supermarkets and other infrastructure in the community, Zhuo Gacuo said that her biggest wish now is to find a job locally after graduating from university and then stay with her parents.
