Intellectual Property Protection
In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during the 25th collective study of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and his important instructions on intellectual property protection, on December 17, the Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau, the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, and the Provincial Market Supervision Administration formed a field inspection working group to go to Zhenjiang to carry out field inspections on intellectual property protection work. As a key department for protecting intellectual property rights, Zhenjiang Intermediate People's Court accepted spot checks from the field inspection team and made a special report.
Huang Zhizhen, a second-level inspector of the Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau, Chen Shilin, deputy director of the Intellectual Property Protection Department of the Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau, Gong Heqing, a fourth-level researcher of the Law Enforcement and Inspection Bureau of the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, and Huo Yaodong, a first-level chief clerk of the Copyright Management Department of the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, attended the meeting. Song Pingsheng, director of the Zhenjiang Market Supervision Bureau, and Huang Hualiang, deputy director of the Zhenjiang Municipal Government Office, accompanied him. At the meeting, Liu Yuyue, Vice President of Zhenjiang Intermediate People's Court, gave a special report on the highlights of intellectual property protection work in Zhenjiang Court from 2019 to 2021, from six aspects: integrated party building, trial business work, diversified conflict resolution, strengthening judicial disclosure, serving the business environment, and promoting traditional culture. She also showed the results of intellectual property protection of Zhenjiang Court to the inspection working group through ledger information.
Huang Zhizhen highly praised the intellectual property work of Zhenjiang Intermediate People's Court, believing that the overall quality of the intellectual property protection work of Zhenjiang Intermediate People's Court has a good academic research results, and has fully played the leading role of judicial protection of intellectual property rights. The inspection team also inquired and exchanged with the participants on issues such as the jurisdiction layout, trial difficulties, and judicial needs of intellectual property trial work.
Inspection Working Group emphasized that Zhenjiang is located in the core development zone of the Yangtze River Delta, with obvious regional advantages and full development momentum. It is hoped that Zhenjiang Court will always focus on intellectual property protection and supporting innovative development, further improve the online mediation of intellectual property cases, confirm the effectiveness of agreements, and continuously improve the level of trial of intellectual property cases. We must focus on the theme of the times, give full play to the role of judicial trial in protecting the innovative development of traditional culture, form real cases as soon as possible, provide useful reference for the development of intellectual property protection work in the province and even the whole country, and strive to write a new chapter for the judicial protection of intellectual property in intellectual property with better achievements and more highlights.
