Gao Guoqing, 30, is the director of the safety production department of the Heating Company No. 5 of Jinan Thermal Power Co., Ltd. In the early stages of this year's heating operation preparation and official operation, Gao Guoqing worked overtime for 35 consecutive days, but no matter how late he worked overtime the day before, he would appear in the office on time at 8 am the next morning.
Gao Guoqing is responsible for the production safety heating area of 9.7 million square meters, covering all pipelines and heat exchange stations of the entire branch. The pipelines are about 50 kilometers and there are hundreds of major valves. Every morning and evening, he has to patrol the line once, sometimes even three or four times, busy with pipeline network regulation, heat exchange station, pipeline network, valve inspection and other work. He knows the position of each valve well, and once the pipeline flow is passed through his hands, the balance is absolutely guaranteed.
"The early stage of heating is the busiest time every year, and it takes about one month for preparation and the formal heating operation." Gao Guoqing said that in the early stage of heating, he would work overtime until late at night, and he would spend the whole night in special circumstances. In order to ensure that residents in the jurisdiction provide normal heating, even when the heating period is stable, they usually get off work at 10:30 pm, and sometimes even at 11:00 pm.
In order to ensure normal heating, many "heating people" spend their homes on their own, and Gao Guoqing is no exception. Gao Guoqing has a daughter over two years old. Anyone who knows him knows that he and his daughter are rarely seen in photos at home. Even in his mobile phone, there is no photo of his daughter except for the photos at work.
"I haven't said a word to my child for more than half a month, and I haven't taken my child out to play once in the past two years." Gao Guoqing said guiltily that he often came home and the child fell asleep. When he left in the morning, the child had not woken up. After a long time, the child felt a little strange to him. Over the years, Gao Guoqing has been sticking to his post. Over time, his family has become accustomed to such a life and silently supports him behind his back.
Gao Guoqing, who has been working for 10 years, started from an ordinary employee and became a backbone of the No. 5 Heating Company through his own efforts. He has worked as a service worker, worked as a technician, worked as a heating project supervisor and external network team leader, and has repaired nearly 100 leaks in a cumulative period, promptly ensuring the normal use of heat for heat users in the jurisdiction. At the same time, he also provided door-to-door services to help users solve actual heat difficulties, a total of more than 2,000 households, ensuring the temperature of the thermal network and warming citizens.
