On November 4, Duan Anna, full-time deputy chairman of the Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League, led a team to the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment to conduct a survey on democratic supervision of the Yangtze River ecological environment protection. Pan Biling, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, attended the meeting, and Liu Qun, deputy secretary of the Party Group and deputy director of the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, presided over the meeting. At the meeting, both parties introduced the background and purpose of the investigation and the relevant situation of the Yangtze River ecological environment protection work. Liu Qun said that the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment will combine the work priorities of the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and fully support and cooperate with the Provincial Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association to do a good job in democratic supervision of the ecological environment protection of the Yangtze River.
Duan Anna said that the research team will carefully organize and absorb the results of this research and actively deploy democratic supervision. She hopes that the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment will continue to care about and support the work of the Provincial Committee of the Democratic League of China, further strengthen coordinated cooperation, jointly do a good job in democratic supervision of the ecological environment protection of the Yangtze River, promote the coordinated high-quality development of economic and social and ecological protection in our province, and contribute wisdom and strength to the implementation of the "three highs and four new" strategy and the construction of a modern new Hunan.
