Comprehensive foreign media reports that the incident occurred on September 14, 2016. At that time, Julie and her family returned to the United States by taking a private plane from France. During the flight, Xiao Bu drank a lot of wine and began to yell at her. She even grabbed her head, shook her, pushed the woman to the wall of the bathroom, and hit the cabin ceiling hard. She said that the man even poured beer on her and was asked to pay nearly 25,000 US dollars (about NT$750,000 NT$3) of alcohol.
