11 At around 7 a.m. on the 11th, Pang Jianguo was shocked to have fallen from his home in Neihu District, Taipei and died on the spot. The neighbors immediately called the police after they found it. At the time of the incident, his wife, Qiu Xiuzhen, was also at home, but she didn't know that her husband fell from the building until the police arrived. At present, the Taipei police have informed the District Prosecutor's Office for criminal investigation, and Pang Jianguo's body was sent to Taipei's Second Funeral Home. The detailed cause of the incident remains to be investigated.
Pang Jianguo's students revealed that in the early morning of that day, Pang left a message in the student group that "I am not as good as death in unfair Taiwan". The students kept replying to comfort me after seeing it, but unexpectedly received the news of death in the morning. The student said that Pang Jianguo revealed during his lifetime that he had cancer and had transferred to his brain. Before the middle of the last semester, he invited other professors to substitute classes. This semester was still encouraged to vote before the "Four Major Referendums" was held. Unexpectedly, bad news came now. The student pointed out that when he saw the information in the early morning, everyone thought it was a long time illness, but some people wondered if it would be related to the Kuomintang's recent failures of many elections.

After the news came out, the Central Committee of China's Kuomintang expressed deep sorrow for Pang Jianguo's unfortunate death and asked his family to express his grief. The Kuomintang will provide all help.
Senior media person Zhao Shaokang said that Pang Jianguo, who has a scholarly personality, is definitely not a negative and melancholy person. He must be disappointed and desperate to make such a decision. Zhao Shaokang said that although Taiwan’s politics is full of injustice, which makes Pang Jianguo angry and disappointed, everyone must firmly believe that “if you don’t believe in justice, you cannot call it back, and you cannot let justice go to ashes”. As long as you are alive, you must make every effort to create the times and turn the world around.
Pang Jianguo's friend and former "legislator" Qiu Yi also posted a message to mourn. He believes that Pang Jianguo's death is an observation indicator of Taiwanese society, that is, after the DPP has completely controlled education, media, public opinion, justice, prosecution and administration, there is no right or wrong in Taiwan society, and the Kuomintang cannot win back the regime through elections. Qiu Yi pointed out that Pang Jianguo's death was actually a helpless cry to the injustice of Taiwanese society and the rapid decline of Taiwanese society!

Public information shows that Pang Jianguo was born in August 1953 in Miaoli County, Taiwan, and is from Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province. In 1982, he passed the Kuomintang’s “Zhongshan Scholarship” and went to the Institute of Sociology, Brown University in the United States to pursue a doctorate degree. After returning from his studies, he taught at the Department of Sociology of Taiwan University, actively participated in the work of the Kuomintang youth, and had a good relationship with members of the "New Kuomintang Connection" Yu Muming , Zhao Shaokang and others.
After the founding of the new party, Pang Jianguo was recruited by the new party in 1994 and ran for Taipei City Councilor. He was elected as the highest vote in Zhongzheng and Wanhua constituencies, and officially entered the political arena. During the 2000 "general election", Pang Jianguo served as the chairman of the Taipei City Campaign Headquarters of Song Chuyu and Zhang Zhaoxiong. After the election, he participated in the establishment of the People First Party. In 2001, he was elected as a "legislator" in Taipei City South District as a People First Party.
In 2006, Pang Jianguo rejoined the Kuomintang. After Ma Ying-jeou came to power, Pang Jianguo served as deputy secretary-general of the Taiwan Straits Foundation and served as cross-strait negotiator. The Kuomintang’s press release on the 11th mentioned that Pang Jianguo has made a lot of contributions to cross-strait peaceful exchanges. After 2012, Pang Jianguo transferred to Taiwan’s Chinese University of Culture to teach.
