China News Service Xiamen, November 1 (Huang Yongchou) The 12th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industry Expo (referred to as the "Cross-Strait Cultural Expo") opened in Xiamen on the 1st.

is the only national-level large-scale cultural exhibition named after "Straits" and co-organized by the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. The Cross-Strait Cultural Expo continues the theme of "one line of inheritance and creative future" and develops into the first platform for cross-strait cultural industry exchanges and cooperation.

The establishment of the Cross-Strait Guest City for the first time is the biggest highlight of this Cross-Strait Cultural Expo. Ningbo and Taichung made a joint appearance, showing the two cities' characteristic resources, key industrial projects, industrial development achievements and local excellent culture, promoting the implementation of cultural and tourism projects, improving the effectiveness of cross-strait cultural and economic docking, and helping the two cities establish friendly cities.

Zeng Nengting, deputy director of the Cultural Bureau of Taichung Municipal Government, said in an interview with reporters that the theme of this Taichung Pavilion is "Take Taichung", and 15 outstanding cultural and creative artists in Taichung were invited to showcase Taiwan's humanities, scenery and landmarks.

"Through the Cross-Strait Cultural Expo, Taichung communicates with cultural and entrepreneurs from all over the country, and has the opportunity to participate in the promotion and docking." Zeng Nengting looks forward to using the Cross-Strait Cultural Expo to provide more cultural and entrepreneurs with a good environment and expand their stage.

The four-day Cross-Strait Cultural Expo will also hold a series of activities such as the 2019 Cross-Strait Cultural and Tourism IP Conference, a special matchmaking meeting for cross-Strait cultural and creative talents, the 6th Cross-Strait College Students Cultural and Creative Forum, and the Taiwan Cultural and Creative Shopping Festival, further highlighting the distinctive Taiwan characteristics.

exhibition hall, there are as many as 898 booths in Taiwan. People from the organizing committee said that this Cross-Strait Cultural Expo not only set up the exhibition area for the first time between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait Guest City and Fujian-Taiwan Homeland Taiwan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, and held the first special matchmaking meeting for the cross-strait cultural and creative talents, but also added the Taiwan Cultural and Creative Theme Pavilion, focusing on building a Taiwan Life Museum and a Taiwan boutique exhibition area, and focusing on making efforts in exploring a new path of cross-strait integration and development, helping Fujian to build a first home for Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises.

This cross-strait cultural and cultural expo is sponsored by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration of Radio and Television, and the People's Government of Fujian Province, hosted by the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, and the Taiwan Asia-Pacific Cultural and Creative Industry Association, and co-organized by the Chinese Arts and Crafts Society, China Tourism Research Institute and Taiwan Crafts Association.
