On July 8, Alibaba’s eWTP public service platform will launch the RCEP tariff query tool. Companies can query the tariff rates, most preferential rates and rules of origin between China and other RCEP agreement countries, providing a reference for commodity exports.
Recently, it has been half a year since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect. The launch of the RCEP query tool is equivalent to allowing merchants to hold "real money" in their hands, making trade easier.
reporter learned that by then, enterprises only need to log in to the eWTP official website and query through the "Smart Tax Enjoyment" column: enter the country of origin, exporting country and the HS code of the exported commodity, and the RCEP and other trade agreements for the commodity will be displayed. According to tax rate regulations, the system will recommend the most preferential tax rate; companies can also query relevant rules of origin to help them understand the requirements for agreement benefits.
In addition to these two functions, eWTP will also provide market analysis services. The query results also include trade data between trading countries to assist export companies in judging the target market demand for goods.
