The Nationalist Government specially equipped a black Chevrolet car with the license plate number "Guoyu 1247" for Zhou Enlai. However, he never regarded this car as his personal car. In Chongqing at that time, transportation was extremely inconvenient. From Hongyanzui to the city, it is more than ten miles away from the city. Although there are buses and horse-drawn carriages available, there are few buses and many people. The bus time is not fixed, so you mainly need to walk to and from the city. Whenever he had to go to the city for business, Zhou Enlai would always shout to each office at the corridor in the office building: " If anyone is going to the city, let's go together. " Therefore, such " "Grand occasion": adults, children, soldier cadres, and the "car owner" Zhou Enlai all crowded into the car, laughing and laughing all the way, and it was very lively. office always use this car when traveling for urgent matters.
