The elderly and 1 child under 5 years old. The distribution of confirmed cases is mainly 4583 cases in New Taipei City and 283 cases in Taipei City.

The person in charge of Taiwan’s Epidemic Command Center recently stated that it is possible for the number to exceed 10,000 in a single day and to exceed one million cumulatively.

Currently, more than 60,000 people in Taiwan are under home quarantine, including nearly 10,000 people in Taipei City.

It is reported that New Taipei City is frequently in need of medical manpower and rapid screening reagents. Mayor Hou Youyi said that New Taipei City has the most confirmed cases, and the number of people quarantined in Kuang has reached 14,616.
