These eight industry standards are based on the basic requirements put forward by the "Basic Standards for Service Safety in Elderly Care Institutions" and the prevention of choking, prevention of accidental ingestion of food and drugs, prevention of pressure ulcers, prevention of burns, prevention of bed falls, prevention of falls, and prevention of other injuries. A series of supporting industry standards have been developed through research and development of the "Nine Preventions" requirements such as self-injury, loss prevention, and entertainment accident prevention.
