Hoshinoya’s second hotel outside Japan will open on June 30. It is located in Guguan, a hot spring resort on the outskirts of Taichung City, about a 90-minute drive from the High Speed ​​Rail Taichung Station. There are 5 room types and 50 guest rooms in the

hotel. The basic room type is called Suimei, starting from 75 square meters. You can see the magnificent Central Mountains outside the window, with cherry blossoms in spring and red leaves in autumn.

Other room types include Senluo, which has 3 bedrooms and a terrace; Shanxia, ​​which can accommodate 4 people and is suitable for the elderly and children; and Tsukimi, which has a hot spring floor that is twice the size of other room types and is 105 square meters; which can accommodate 3 people. Hot spring in the guest room

A major feature of the hotel is the hot spring. The hot springs in Guguan never dry up and gush out all year round, so there is a stable amount of hot spring water here all year round. The spring water is colorless and odorless alkaline carbonated spring water, which is less irritating to the skin and is also known as the "skin-beautifying hot spring." Hoshinoya also creatively introduces hot springs into the guest rooms, allowing guests to choose to take a bath in the guest rooms.

Not surprisingly, the hotel’s designer is still Hoshinoya’s royal designer Tori Megumi. In an exclusive interview, she admitted that she had completed the entire design of this hotel a few years ago, but it would take several years for every Hoshinoya hotel to polish the details before it opens for business. The building of

hotel is hidden in the mountains on the outskirts of Taichung, which is also in line with Donglihui's consistent space design style of "incorporating local essence into the hotel".

Public space is designed using abundant hot spring water and the spring water from Taiwan's Central Mountains, and is built according to the water. The hotel's hot spring is open-air and blends in with the surrounding environment, allowing people to truly feel the local natural environment in Guguan. At the same time, the hotel uses water as the scenery and builds a water courtyard, which is somewhat similar to the public space of Hoshinoya Karuizawa.

At the same time, the hotel's swimming pool, Spa, restaurants, etc. are also integrated with mountain springs. You can feel the flow of water and listen to the pleasant sound of gurgling water wherever you go.
