The village is not big, but it is so beautiful that the locals respectfully call it "Master Baisha" (or Emperor Baisha). There is indeed a real person in the history of Mr. Baisha. He is Lu Wentai, the founding hero of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Lu Wentai retired after his success and refused the generous salary from high-ranking officials. However, he was attracted by the beauty of this small village and lived in seclusion here.
