In order to get closer to science, I joined the "Fun Little Experiments, Big Scientific Discoveries" social practice activity of the School of Materials and Chemical Engineering of Henan University of Urban Construction. Facing this "Three Going to the Countryside" activity, the practice members of this group reviewed this activity on June 5 I collected materials, made preparations, and conducted research in Muzhuang Village and Pingdingshan Dexinyuan Community in Yexian County from the 9th to the 26th and made small science experiments with the children, which also gave me some insights. This practical activity made me very excited, because this was my first time to participate in a university practical activity. This activity allowed me to personally experience the unity of the practice members. Everyone is doing their best to do this well. activities, I also believe that I can do my part. This research activity allowed me to see the work that everyone is good at. Some are good at taking photos, some are good at interviewing, and some are willing to summarize and write news. After the experiment, I think my communication skills with others have improved. I saw the innocence and cuteness of the children. While completing the task, I also saw the unity and mutual help among the team members. , and this task requires patient communication with the children, so that the children understand the fun of science, and let them understand the meaning of "you will only know if a pair of shoes fits you by wearing them yourself." Some of the children have weak hands-on ability, so we have to do it with our own hands. Teach them to do it, and when their faces are painted with smiles of successful experiments, it also makes us feel happy. The difficulty of teaching children to perform experiments also makes me understand the teachers' spirit of "the wax torch turns to ashes before the tears dry up." On the way back, I often recalled every detail of the experiment and the expectant eyes of the children when they saw the scientific experiments. I thought these were just small experiments common in life, not the big experiments done by scientists. , and some children lack hands-on ability, so it is very important to improve their hands-on ability. The establishment of the socialist system has opened up a way for us to reach the ideal state, and the realization of the ideal state depends on our own hands. In the next day, we went to Pingdingshan Dexinyuan Community for investigation and conducted small science experiments with local children again. We also asked many children about scientific experiment knowledge and distributed small gifts. I found There are many children who are very interested in small chemical experiments and are willing to experience the magic of science personally. However, some children are still full of ignorance about science. Science plays an important role in improving children's thinking, and they have excellent thinking. Ability will be of great help in future life. Therefore, this activity made me feel the importance of improving children's scientific knowledge and practical ability. During the experiment, I had the same feelings as the children and was afraid of messing up the experiment. Although failure was unavoidable during the experiment, I still encouraged the children to persist. I believe that only after experiencing failure can success be achieved. Fortunately, my classmates were there to help me, which made me more confident to do this experiment well. I went from being afraid of screwing up when I first participated in the activity to being determined now, and the timidity of the past is gone forever. As I completed each experiment, my confidence in myself grew stronger.
