On the morning of June 16,
the highway construction project from Xibin to Houlou section of Youxi County, Sanming City, Xitang Line (X732 Line)
officially started.
The total mileage of the Xitang Line project is 48.4 kilometers, passing through 23 towns and 8 administrative villages in Xibin, Yangzhong, and Tangchuanhtml, connecting Tangchuan Xiatianxia, Guxi Xinghe, Yangzhong Guifeng ancient residences, and Houlou Pillow Hotspots such as Shanshan Provincial Forest Park, Xibin Zheng’s Mansion, and United Rice Terraces are important transportation and economic thoroughfares.
Previously, the construction of the section from Yangzhong to Yukawa and the section from Houlou to Yangzhong has been completed. The length of the Xibin to Houlou section constructed this time is 14.94 kilometers long. It is designed according to the standard of third-level highway and is full-width. The road width is 7.5 meters, and the total investment is 72.655 million yuan. Strive to complete the main roadbed project within the year, and complete the project construction and pass acceptance in October 2023. After the completion of the
project, the Xitang Line will be fully connected, which is of great significance for further improving the transportation network, enhancing transportation carrying capacity, improving people's travel conditions, accelerating the development of industrial belts along the line, and promoting rural tourism.
