On the afternoon of January 20, 2022, our hospital held the Criminal Prosecution Debate Competition as a series of talent training activities. Twelve young prosecutors and police officers were divided into four teams and faced each other as prosecutors and defenders, and had a heated debate on the characterization of a criminal case. The competition will ultimately determine the winning team and individual rankings. Niu Jingzhi won first place, and his debate team with Xie Qianwen and Xiao Xiaoying won the title of "Winning Team". Zhu Yezhou and Wen Shaohong won the second place, and Xie Qianwen, Lian Lishan and Chen Haiyin won the third place.

Luo Shiming, director and founding partner of Guangdong Wenzhang Law Firm, Ye Zhicong, president of the Criminal Tribunal of the Third People's Court of Dongguan City, and Xiong Yichaoshou, deputy director of the Second Prosecution Department of the Dongguan People's Procuratorate Invite the head of the business department of our hospital to serve as judges. After the host introduced the participants and read out the rules of the competition, the competition officially kicked off. Focusing on the question of whether a criminal case should be classified as a crime of theft or embezzlement, participating teams competed to express their views and argue their case in links such as breaking the topic, free debate, and summary statements. Especially during the free debate, the two sides fought hand-to-hand and attacked each other. Defending, the focus of the dispute was unfolded layer by layer and questioned step by step. When the closing speeches were made, the confrontation between the two sides became more intense. They not only echoed and strengthened the argument of one's own side, but also exposed and criticized the other party's mistakes and omissions, and brought the debate to a successful conclusion with the final blow.

This debate match not only showed the team and personal style, but also provided the contestants with an opportunity to display their professional skills, practice eloquence and on-the-spot reactions, and also provided an opportunity to further improve criminal prosecution and pursue the ultimate spirit.
