China News Service, June 20. According to the China Seismological Network , a 5.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in Hualien County, Taiwan, at 9:05 on the 20th, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. According to Taiwanese media reports, after the earthquake, the Taipei and Taoyuan MRTs carried out slow-speed train patrol operations. According to observations from the Taiwan Meteorological Department, the earthquake occurred in Guangfu Township, Hualien County. Hualien was the first to bear the brunt, with a magnitude of 5. The magnitude of the earthquake in Taitung and Nantou on both sides of the Central Mountains was 4. Other areas include Taichung , Chiayi , Yunlin, Yilan, Changhua, Tainan, Taipei and other places.
