The Honda NT1100 is a recreational vehicle model based on the "African" platform. It can also be regarded as a comfortable version of the "African" for long-distance road riding. However, the interesting thing about this car is that it is based on the "African" "Built, but it has the front face of the new XADV, so it looks a bit weird.
In terms of power, it is naturally equipped with the same 1084cc double-cylinder water-cooled engine as the "African". The maximum power is 73Kw/7500rpm, and the maximum torque of the is 103Nm/6000rpm. It is consistent with the African double, and the engine output data is the same as that of the foreign version. There is only a small difference (75kw/104Nm). The NT1100 launched in China this time does not provide an MT version, currently only the DCT version.

Obviously, windshields of this size are only equipped on recreational vehicles, and there are a pair of small auxiliary windshields on both sides of the NT1100 main windshield to increase the windshield area.
As a compatriot model of the "African", the instrument of the NT1100 adopts the same design as the African dual, a 6.5-inch full-color TFT touch screen, paired with a monochrome LED secondary screen. In addition to being touch-controlled, this instrument also supports Apple CarPlay /Android Auto features. In terms of electronic configuration, it provides three-level traction control, four riding modes, three-level engine control, front wheel control, etc.
Honda NT1100 is also equipped with full LED headlights , turn signals with automatic return function and emergency stop signal function. In addition, cruise control, heated handlebars, and saddlebags seem to be optional options.
Although the split seat cushion is a bit sporty, the seat cushion is very wide and thick, making it more suitable for long-distance riding. Of course, if a trunk is installed, the riding experience for rear passengers will be further improved.
As for the hardware, the NT1100 front fork adopts SHOWA 43mm inverted front fork, and the mid-mounted rear shock absorber has a preload adjustment function. The front is a 310mm double disc + Nissin radial four-piston brake caliper, and the rear is a 256mm single disc + single-piston caliper. However, the detailed parameter configuration of this car has not been announced yet, and we can only refer to foreign configuration standards.
The launch of Honda NT1100 can be seen as a supplement to the coverage of "African". After all, the setting of Africa Double is closer to the style of rally .
