I believe that after buying a refrigerator, you will basically start using it directly, but I want to tell you that this may reduce the life of the refrigerator. However, after reading some of the precautions for using the refrigerator that I wrote, you can master some basic principles of using the refrigerator.
Notes on using refrigerator
1. Placement of refrigerator
(1). For the placement of this type of product, be sure to reserve enough space, especially the distance between 5~10cm on both sides, 10cm above and 10cm on the back, so that the refrigerator can be fully heated. In addition, it is best to have a ventilation port around the refrigerator. Of course, there can also be a ventilation port that forms a return flow with the refrigerator heat dissipation at a close distance to allow heat to be dissipated.
(2) Since the refrigerator consumes a lot of power, it is best not to put it together with household appliances. It will not only increase the load of the plug-in and discharge, but also the heat emitted by other appliances will also increase the power consumption of the refrigerator. In addition, be sure to stay away from heat sources to avoid exposure to the sun, because these heats will also affect the load capacity of the refrigerator. Because for every 5℃ increase in the temperature around the refrigerator, the power consumption will be increased by 25%. Therefore, it should be placed as far away from the heat source as possible, and ventilated and shaded.
(3), The indoor environment where the refrigerator should be placed should be well ventilated, dry, with little dust, the top should be more than 50cm from the ceiling, and the distance from the peripheral wall should be no less than 10cm, so that the unboxing door can rotate more than 90°. The floor where the refrigerator is placed must be firm and the refrigerator must be placed smoothly.
2. Regularly defrost the refrigerator
The frost layer of the refrigerator has very low heat transfer. When the thickness of the frost layer in the refrigerator reaches 5mm, the refrigeration effect of the refrigerator will decrease by 20%. The thicker the frost layer, the worse the refrigeration effect. So be sure to defrost the refrigerator regularly. Of course, if you choose frost-free refrigerator , you don’t need to consider this issue. Do not use sharp tools to scrape the frost inside. Open the refrigerator door and wait for the frost to melt, and then wipe the refrigerator clean with a clean rag to ensure that the refrigerator is dry and moisture-free.
Try to choose air-cooled refrigerator , which can automatically defrost and reduce your burden.
3. Clean refrigerators should be washed frequently
In addition to using the refrigerator correctly, it is also very important to clean the refrigerator regularly and do a good job of sterilization:
(1), Alcohol + vinegar
It is recommended to clean the refrigerator with a concentration of 70% alcohol + vinegar every 1 to 2 months, and then wash it with clean water.
(2), alcohol + cola
Mix alcohol and cola in a ratio of 1:1, wrap it on the fork with a strong absorbent gauze or paper, dip it in solution to clean the gaps on the refrigerator door, which can effectively remove mold.
(3), Note that
is not recommended to use dishwashing liquid or other disinfectants to avoid unnecessary health risks if the cleaning is not in place.
4. What should I do with a newly bought refrigerator?
The newly purchased refrigerator is left to stand for more than three hours before powering on; wait until the refrigerator reaches the set temperature before putting in the food.
The specific usage method is as follows:
(1). The inside and outside of the newly purchased refrigerator will be wrapped with various protective films. First remove the protective film and scrub the refrigerator with warm water, especially the inside of the refrigerator must be cleaned. If necessary, put orange peels or lemon slices inside the refrigerator to eliminate the odor in the refrigerator.
(2) The newly purchased refrigerator should not be powered immediately. Let it sit for more than three hours before powering on, because during the transportation of the refrigerator, refrigeration oil is likely to run into the pipeline and stand still, and wait until the refrigeration oil returns to its original position before powering on, which can avoid the compressor being burned out.
(3) After the refrigerator is powered on for the first time, wait until the refrigerator reaches the set temperature before putting the food in. It is best not to put too much food in it. Long-term full-load work will affect the service life of the refrigerator and will increase energy consumption.
(4) It should be noted that before storing food, the refrigerator should run without load for a period of time, and wait until the temperature in the box drops, and then put the food in it. Do not store too much food, and try to avoid the refrigerator running at full load for a long time.
5. Is the refrigerator full of electricity saving or is it empty?
full of power saving. Food has much greater heat capacity than air, has slower temperature rise and less affected by the environment, and can also help the refrigerator to control the temperature. In addition, the air is fluid, and every time you open the refrigerator door, it will cause air to flow . The more air in the refrigerator, the more heat it brings.
