Because it has a push-button lid, it can store water well when washing clothes. You don't have to worry about the water accidentally touching it and flowing away like a flap lid. Furthermore, the drainer comes with a small filter, which can effectively filter out residue, especially the long hair that falls off when I wash my hair.
