Wu Yue State of the "Ten Kingdoms": the founder of the country was the longest-lived monarch in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period

Wu Yue, one of the ten countries in the "Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms" period, the founding monarch is the Qianlong who is called the Sea Dragon King by the people of Zhejiang and Zhejiang.

Qian Yu was forced to make a living when he was young. He was involved in selling illegal salt. Later he joined the army. He is good at bows and arrows and spears. He has a little knowledge of pictures and Weishu. In the second year of Emperor Qianfu of the Tang Dynasty, Wang Ying, a general in western Zhejiang, made trouble, and Qian Wei was appointed as a partial general by Dong Chang from Shijian Town, and participated in quelling the rebellion of Wang Ying. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, the Huang Chao uprising broke out and the world was in chaos. Dong Chang summoned all counties (Lin'an County, Yuhang County, Yuqian County, Yanguan County, Xincheng County, Tangshan County, Fuyang County, Longquan County) to form eight armies, and appointed Qian Wei as the commander of the capital.

Yuezhou Observation Envoy Liu Hanhong and Dong Chang have never been in harmony. In the second year of neutralization, Liu Hanhong sent his younger brother Liu Hanyou and Du Yu Hou Xinyue to station in Xiling, preparing to seek an opportunity to attack Dong Chang. Qian Yu led the Eight Capital Army across the river and broke through the camps of Liu Hanyou and Xin Yue. Liu Hanhong sent Huang Gui and He Su to station in Zhuji and Xiaoshan, and Qian Wei broke through their camps one by one. Later, Qian Wei and Liu Hanhong met in a big battle. Liu Hanhong was defeated. His subordinates He Su and Xin Yue were killed. Liu Hanhong pretended to be a butcher and escaped. In the four years of Zhonghe, Qian Miao led the army to break into Yuezhou, Liu Hanhong lost to Taizhou, was arrested by the Taizhou governor and dedicated to Qian Yu, was later beheaded by Qian Miao, and his family was also killed.

In the third year of Guangqi (887 years), Qian Wei was named General Zuowei, Hangzhou Governor, and later named Hangzhou Defense Envoy. After that, they captured Suzhou and Changzhou. In the second year of Longji (890), Tang Zhaozong set up the Wusheng Army in Hangzhou. Qian Wei was named the training envoy of the Wusheng Army Capital Regiment, and later he was promoted to the Navy Jiedu Envoy and Runzhou Governor, and he added the same Pingzhang affair.

In the second year of Qianning (895), Dong Chang rebelled. Under the bewilderment of Yingzhi, Wang Wen, Wu Hanyu and others, he proclaimed himself emperor and named Luoping. Deputy envoy Huang Jie persuaded Dong Chang not to do this, but was decapitated by the furious Dong Chang. Qian Yu also advised Dong Chang many times, but Dong Chang insisted on proclaiming himself emperor. Zhaozong issued an edict to cut off Dong Chang's official title and made Qian Wei the king of Pengcheng County. Zhejiang Dongdao recruited envoys and ordered him to crusade against Dong Chang. Later, Dong Chang asked Yang Xingmi for help, but was defeated and captured by Qian Wei's general Gu Quanwu. On the way to Hangzhou, Dong Chang threw himself into the water. Zhaozong ordered the change of the Weisheng Army to the Zhendong Army, and the Qianyu as the Zhenhai, Zhendong Army Jiedu Envoy, the inspection of the Taiwei, the Zhongshu Order, and the gift of iron coupons. In the second year of Tianfu, Qian Wei was named King of Yue, and in the first year of Tianyou, he was named King of Wu.

In the first year of Kaiping (907 AD), the post-Liang Taizu Zhu Wen came to the throne, and Qianyu became the king of Wuyue and the Huainan Jiedu. A guest once persuaded Qian Wei not to accept the reward from Hou Liang, but Qian Wei believed that temporarily yielding to Hou Liang was only a temporary strategy, and said, "How am I going to be Sun Zhong's conspiracy!" So he accepted the reward from Hou Liang, and then successively sealed Qian Wei as a guard. Zhongshuling, Shoutaibao, and Shoushangshuling (these two official positions are honorary titles, not actual posts), and both Huainan, Xuanrun and other roads are all unified.

In the second year of Qianhua (912), Ying Wang Zhu Yougui killed his father to usurp the throne and respected Qian Wei as his father. In the third year of Emperor Liang's Emperor Zhenming, Qian Wei was appointed as Marshal of the Soldiers and Horses of the World, and he was appointed as an official.

After Tang Zhuangzong destroyed the Liang, Qian Yu sent the envoy to pay tribute and asked for a jade book (the jade book is for the emperor's imperial use, and it is not available for the emperor), so Tang Zhuangzong gave money to the jade book and gold seal. Qian Yu called himself the king of Wuyue because he was awarded to his son Yuan Rong by the military festivals such as Zhenhai and others. He changed his residence to a palace. All officials were called ministers, and all rituals were in accordance with the emperor's standards.

After Tang Mingzong ascended the throne, Minister An Chonggao took charge of political affairs and sent the enshrined officials Wu Zhaoyu and Han Mei as an envoy to Wu Yue. After returning to the court, Han Mei framed Wu Zhaoyu as a minister to Qian Yu, and An Zhongjian then played Mingzong. The king, marshal, and father of Qian Yu were cut off, and he was appointed as a Taishi. After the death of An Zhongqiu, Mingzong regained Qian's official title.

Changxing three years (932 years), Qian Wei died. Qian Yi was the founder of Wu Yue, the longest reigning monarch in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, and the longest life span, living for eighty-one years. In the early stage, he gradually occupied the thirteen states of Zhejiang and Zhejiang, headed by Hangzhou, and established the Wuyue territory. During his reign, he presided over the construction of seawalls, construction of sea dikes, and dredging of rivers and lakes to ensure that farmland houses were not attacked by sea water and could be used at the same time. Used for agricultural irrigation, it is called the king of sea dragon by the people of Zhejiang and Zhejiang. The territory of Wuyue Kingdom is small, with only 13 states, and neighboring neighboring countries are eagerly watching. With strong strength, they have to always hold the thighs of the Central Plains dynasty and continuously send envoys to seek protection.

After Qian Yu died, his son Qian Yuangong succeeded the king of Wuyue. Qian Yuanrong is good at comforting soldiers, loves Confucianism, and is good at composing poetry. He ordered Shen Song, the prime minister of the country, to set up the Chosen Academy and select and recruit talented scholars from the country. But he also loves luxury and loves building palaces. In the sixth year of Tianfu (941), Hangzhou was hit by a big fire. Qian Yuangong's palace was burnt down. Yuangong became horrified and died soon after.

After Qian Yuanwan died, his son Qian Zuo succeeded. The generals thought that Qian Zuo was young (13 years old when he succeeded) and did not take him seriously. Qian Zuo was very tolerant to the generals. Later, he decisively dealt with several generals and demoted Zhang De'an to Mingzhou and Li Wenqing. In Muzhou, they killed Du Zhaoda, the inner capital prisoner, and Kan Pan, the army envoy, and the generals began to fear Qian Zuo. During his reign, taking advantage of Fujian's internal turmoil, Qian Zuo sent troops to partition the Kingdom of Fujian with Nantang and occupy Fuzhou.

In the fourth year of good luck (947), Qian Zuo died at the age of only 20, and his brother Qian Su succeeded to the throne. Qian Su was relatively unlucky. Less than a year after he assumed the throne, Hu Jinsi was abolished by the ruling army and put under house arrest. Hu Jinsi then supported Qian Su (Qian Su's younger brother) to succeed him.

Qian Chu attacked the king of Wu and Yue, and went through the Later Han, Later Zhou and Song Dynasty during his reign. Since Wuyue was founded in the late Tang Dynasty, Yang Xingmi and Li Fang seized the Jianghuai area. Every time they paid tribute to the Central Plains court, or the court sent envoys to Wuyue, they had to enter the sea or land from Dengzhou and Laizhou. Envoys often drowned and died. Later Zhou Shizong Chai Rong An envoy said to Qian Chu, "I must pacify Jiangbei this time. Next time you come to pay tribute, you can go by land." Later, Chai Rong really calmed down the land of Huainan, and because Qian Chu sent his troops to make good contributions, he sent messengers to reward him with the banner of the soldiers and the llamas.

Later Zhao Kuangyin established the Song Dynasty, Jingnan, Nanchu and other countries returned to the Song Dynasty one after another, and Wu Yue became more and more weak. Later, Qian Chu visited Zhao Kuangyin in Bianjing’s pilgrimage. Zhao Kuangyin rewarded him with a generous gift. Qian Chu was very happy. Later, he paid tribute to many rare treasures and precious utensils. Zhao Kuangyin said: “This is what I have in my bag, and I still need it. Are you here to offer?" In the third year of Taiping rejuvenation (978), Qian Chu returned to the Song Dynasty with the land of the thirteen states in Zhejiang and Zhejiang, and Wu Yue died.

Since the second year of Tang Qianning (895), Qianyu was appointed as the Jiedu Envoy of Zhenhai and Zhendong Army, and he was also the land of Zhejiang, and until the third year of Song Taiping Xingguo (978), the country was divided into five masters. , Eighty-four years.
