In the thirty-sixth year of Qin Shihuang's year (211 BC), the envoy Zheng Rong came from Guandong and was about to pass through Hangu Pass and go to Huayin County. When I arrived at Mount Huashan, I saw a white carriage drawn by white horses driving down Mount Huashan. He felt that normal people would not drive a car like this, and he felt that he was not human, so he stayed where he was and waited for the car to come. After the car arrived, the owner asked Zheng Rong where he was going. Zheng Rong said he was going to Xianyang . The master said: "I am the messenger of the God of Huashan. I want you to deliver a letter to Mr. Haochi's residence. When you go to Xianyang, you will definitely pass by Haochi. There you will see a tall catalpa tree with a stone next to it. The stone is covered with lines. If you use the stone to knock the tree, someone will answer you." So he gave the letter to Zheng Rong.
Zheng Rong followed what he said and came to the Haochi Pond. Sure enough, there was a big tree, so he knocked the tree with a stone. Someone really came to answer him and took away the letter.
The next year, Qin Shi Huang died. It seems that the letter may be a reminder.
Original text: In the thirty-sixth year of the First Emperor of Qin, the envoy Zheng Rong came from Guandong and was about to enter Hanguan Pass. When he reached Huayin in the west, he saw plain chariots and white horses going up and down Huashan Mountain. If you suspect that he is not a human being, you should stop and wait for him. When he arrived, he asked Zheng Rong, "How's it going?" He replied, "To Xianyang." The person in the car said, "I am the envoy of Huashan. I would like to entrust you with a letter and send it to the king of Haochi. When I was in Xianyang, I passed by Haochi and saw a large catalpa with aragonite. If you take out the catalpa, there should be someone who can respond." He wrote it with it. As he said, if you pay a catalpa tree with a stone, someone will come to pick up the book. Next year, Zulong will die.
