He died in Liulaozhuang Village, Liulaozhuang Town, Huaiyin District, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. Today, this letter has become a precious collection of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, silently telling the heroic past of the 82 martyrs of Liu Laozhuang who resisted the Japanese invaders and died heroically.

In March last year, after Liulaozhuang Village was listed as a pilot project for the construction of a red beautiful village by the Organization Department of the Central Committee, Liulaozhuang Town seized the opportunity and took the construction of the Liulaozhuang Village position as the "point", invested more than 300,000 yuan to transform and upgrade the 2,000 square meters of village party and mass service center. Taking Dinghuzhuang, Liulaozhuang Village as the "line", the pilot project of red beautiful villages is combined with the construction of provincial characteristic pastoral villages, and the pastoral complex project with a total investment of about 30 million yuan is promoted. Taking the town area as the "surface", 60 million yuan was invested to renovate and upgrade three main streets with a total length of 2 kilometers in the town area around pole line relocation, building improvement, traffic optimization, and facility improvement. A fruit tree, in front of the cemetery, thousands of trees spring

Since the climate and soil conditions of Liulaozhuang are suitable for planting pecans, Liulaozhuang Village has identified it as the leading industry. Now, a total of 1,100 acres of pecan trees are planted in the village, of which 260 acres are planted by villagers, and the rest are planted by village collectives or large households. Zhu Haibing, the owner of Xiangzhuang Farm, said that pecan fruits have fruits in 5 years and have a bumper yield in 7 years, which is too large for individual farmers to make a profit. "My plantation provides more than 200 temporary jobs."
Now, all 7,050 acres of land in the village have been transferred to the village collective, and the village collective is then contracted to the growers. At present, in addition to 3,000 mu of rice, Liulaozhuang has developed 4 "thousand acres", namely 1,000 mu of forestry and fruit, 1,000 mu of photovoltaic power generation, 1,000 mu of fruit and vegetable picking, and 1,000 mu of pecan fruit. Zhu Lin said that the countryside is turning into a farm.
The villagers who were loosened from the land have served a new job. In addition to working outside, the village also introduced a clothing factory and an edible fungus processing factory, with 300 villagers working here, with monthly salary ranging from 1,500 to 4,500 yuan.
Last year, the collective economic operating income of Liulaozhuang Village reached 1.07 million yuan, and this year it is expected to exceed 1.5 million yuan. Most of the village collectives still have a rent of 730,000 yuan for 700 acres of land contracted for the outside world, and the growth point is that the village collective operation of pecan fruit has an income of 300,000 yuan.
As the village collectively becomes stronger, more practical things can be done for the people in the village. Now, the village collective pays for the kindergarten, the villagers' tap water fees, and the villagers' medical insurance payment (50 yuan per person). At the village party and mass service center, a September list of activities for the "Stone Action" serving the masses was posted, including haircuts, watching red movies, calligraphy competitions, etc., and even the egg-puff competition was included.
A decision was made, villagers collectively increase their income
In 2011, most farmers in Liulaozhuang Village moved into the Red Home Community, and only Dinghuzhuang was left unresolved. In 2021, after the pilot project of red beautiful villages was launched, the town party committee and the village party general branch decided to implement the Dinghuzhuang living environment improvement project on the basis of respecting public opinion, investing 30 million yuan to create a pastoral complex that retains nostalgia memories.
"I thought this decision was to compromise and make money, but I realized that all parties will win and rejuvenate. This incident inspired us that the construction of a beautiful red village must be carried with the masses and earned with the masses." A relevant person in charge of the Organization Department of the Huaiyin District Committee said with emotion that this project has gained "three unexpected things".
The first is that I couldn’t imagine that project construction is so fast. The project covers a total area of 3,000 mu, and the project construction was completed in just 3 and a half months. In 2016, the towns and villages tried to upgrade and transform Dinghuzhuang, but there were many contradictions at that time and the masses did not understand it, so they temporarily put it aside and did not enforce it. Since last year, the people have seen the changes brought to Liulaozhuang Village by the pilot construction of red beautiful villages, and have not only actively supported it but also strongly supported it. The old tree at the entrance of Dinghuzhuang was moved out of his yard and donated to the village by villager Liu Zhongbing. The tree has been in its age for more than 80 years. When transplanting, Liu Zhongbing said, "This tree is more meaningful than putting it in my home."
The third thing is that I didn't expect that the implementation effect was so good, and the villagers became rich and the collective. First of all, the shared vegetable garden in the project has been put into use, with 150 portions of land in 15 mu. Each portion of land is 800 yuan, and the village planted on behalf of 1,000 yuan.Secondly, last year, relying on the transformation of her new look, the village held a light and shadow carnival folk lantern exhibition in Dinghuzhuang, attracting 150,000 people around her to visit, and the village's collective economy increased by 160,000 yuan. At the same time, it also led more than a dozen farmers to sell grilled sausages, bottled water, etc. to tourists. The highest farmers earned 50,000 yuan a month.
"Under construction, we have introduced multiple market entities to cooperate in homestays, lantern exhibitions, etc., and the village collective has received 30% of the profits." Zhu Lin said that if you want to talk about the trouble, that is, how the village collective shares more profits in the secondary industry projects.
Last year, the village collectively led the 130 acres of pecan fruit, which was just a small step to solve the problem, and a bigger move was at the back. On September 30, Yu Feng, the first secretary of the village, went to , Huaian City, to obtain the license of Liu Laozhuang Tengfei Agricultural Development Company, which is the main body of the village collectively led the enterprise. The first thing the enterprise did was to share 5 million yuan of project funds invested by the village collective in the breeding industry in the village, with a share of 10,000 yuan per share, and allow village cadres and villagers to invest. He said that the correct direction for village cadres to lead the management, village collective equity investment, and market-oriented management are the village collective development of the planting and breeding industry.
