Unexpectedly, the concubine disagreed and accused Puyi of taking photos in foreign clothes, which was detrimental to the royal majesty. The two had a big fight and parted in disagreement.

After returning, Youlan, who had been so strong in her life, suffered this great humiliation and was heartbroken. She thought that her ancestral property could not be restored and her life was hopeless, so she drank a lot of opium with soy wine and committed suicide. She was only 37 years old when she died.
