The former "Hong Kong independence" leader, Chan Ka-Kui, had been charged with illegal assembly by the Hong Kong SAR Government. After paying for bail, he still had to report to the police station once a week. His life was strictly restricted. However, one day in 2020, the Hong Kong police discovered that Chan Ka-Kui was missing.
The police believe that Chen Jiaju is still in Hong Kong. This is not the first time that Chen Jiaju has disappeared. While on bail, he secretly fled to Taiwan Province with his companions to meet with notorious "Taiwan independence" elements. He wanted to hide in Taiwan Province by abandoning bail and absconding. However, his plan failed and was rejected by the Taiwan authorities.

After investigation, the Hong Kong police discovered that Chen Jiaju had really escaped.
He secretly went to Hong Kong International Airport on June 4, 2020, and departed from here to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Chen Jiaju's escape trajectory revealed the atmosphere of conspiracy.
At that time, the Netherlands adopted extremely strict entry restrictions due to the new crown epidemic, so only 13 categories of people were exempted from entry restrictions, including all citizens of EU and Schengen area countries, as well as family members of citizens of relevant countries, long-term residents and other qualified people.

Chan Ka Kui does not qualify for any kind of immunity, so his ability to escape from Hong Kong proves that there are still people in Hong Kong and abroad who match him and plan a series of escape routes.
Subsequently, people also discovered that Chen Jiaju is now hiding in a small town 80 kilometers away from London, where many Hong Kong troublemakers gather.
Why are the embers of Hong Kong independence forces not extinguished and still waiting for opportunities in the dark? Who is Chen Jiaju? Why should these forces be rescued to foreign countries at the risk of being exposed and wiped out?

1. The era when "Hong Kong independence" thrived
Hong Kong independence violent groups once occupied Hong Kong Airport and beat mainland passengers.
On New Year's Day alone in 2020, a large number of masked thugs wearing dark clothes launched violent attacks in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Central and other places. They blocked roads, even set fires, threw a large number of petrol bombs, and destroyed public facilities. Countless shops, Chinese banks and even the SAR High Court became the targets of their attacks.
There were also many men in black blocking roads along other routes, throwing bricks, debris and self-made petrol bombs, damaging banks and store facilities. Later, these thugs even blocked roads near the Gooseneck Bridge on Hennessy Road and set fire to them with great arrogance.
There are leaders behind these groups waving "Hong Kong independence" flags and foreign flags, and among them is Chen Jiaju. The reporter also revealed Chen Jiaju's growth trajectory, and people have now seen how "Hong Kong independence" came into being.

Chan Ka Kui was born in Hong Kong on April 20, 1990. When he was a child, his family lived on low-cost housing provided by the government. Their life was not rich at all, but at least they had enough food and clothing, so Chan Ka Kui did not feel that his life experience was miserable.
However, Chen Jiaju's growth environment is not healthy. Chen Jiaju's tragedy seems to be directly caused by his parents. His parents are very keen on politics. They even want to train their son to become a Hong Kong independent, so that his children can embark on this path of no return.
Ever since Chan Ka Kui was a child, his parents have been instilling so-called "enlightenment education" in front of him all day long. These enlightenment educations are actually extremely biased stances and extremely extreme thinking about Hong Kong independence. In front of Chan Ka Kui, his family praised the "last governor of Hong Kong" Patten , believing that the United Kingdom he represented was the destination of Hong Kong.

As a child, Chen Jiaju naturally had no good impression of mainland China, which his parents scorned. He gradually became like his parents. Any unrest or demonstrations that occurred in Hong Kong were praised as "speaking for social progress."
The Chen family has always held this idea, and naturally their behavior has become very extreme. The Chen family fell into desperation during the financial crisis that spread to Hong Kong in 1997. They were unable to repay the housing loan they purchased. Eventually, Chen Jiaju discovered that the topic at home was no longer all kinds of Hong Kong independence ideas, but that his parents quarreled and scolded each other every day for food, rice, oil and salt.
Because of their emotional discord, Chen Jiaju's parents divorced soon after, and Chen Jiaju was sentenced to be raised by his father. This made him feel extremely inferior and ashamed. He lived a wandering life with his father, even without enough to eat. The house he lived in became smaller and smaller, and the landlord asked for more and more rent.

In this environment, Chen Jiaju had thoughts of hatred in his heart. He mapped this thought to the government and everything. As early as 2004, a website called "I am a Hong Konger Connection" was launched. The website
even publicly denied that Hong Kong is an integral part of the People's Republic of China and advocated that Hong Kong must become an independent country. Since then, the "Hong Kong independence" trend has begun to take root and grow on the Internet.
Chan Ka Kui was 14 years old at the time. After being exposed to this kind of thinking at this age when he was establishing a world view, he quickly combined it with the wrong ideas he received in his childhood and quickly recognized the concept of "Hong Kong independence".
Chan Ka-Kui also strongly agrees with the Hong Kong British "Dragon and Lion Flag" incident in the "July 1st" parade in Hong Kong in 2011 and the "Anti-National Education Movement" in 2012. Chan Ka-Kui and other young people have an increasingly weak sense of identification with "One China".

At the same time, Chen Jiaju's own life also encountered many setbacks. He grew up in a broken family. Because of his unscrupulous parents, he himself was incompatible with his peers. In the end, his academic career was full of all kinds of misfortunes.
When he was a teenager, Chan Ka-kui studied at Po Leung Kuk Tang Nai-kin Junior College, but he did not continue to high school. Chan Ka-kui entered the society early, while working part-time jobs, and at the same time studying the overseas bachelor's degree in psychology course at the University of Iowa, Hong Kong, online.
Chen Jiaju relied on the knowledge he gained from online classes to become a psychological counselor for children. Eager to support his family, he even found many jobs, such as designing handmade perfume products in a company. Chen Jiaju later recalled his story and said that he was "while working, studying at the same time, and the most important thing was doing politics."

In Chen Jiaju's impression, he felt that the northern mainland China was simply the incarnation of the devil. He rejected the mainland from the bottom of his heart, and even quarreled with mainland netizens on the Internet. Chen Jiaju also became obsessed with Hong Kong in the colonial era and missed the time when the British implemented colonial rule here.
Later, after Chan Ka-Kui became a "Hong Kong independence activist", in an interview with reporters, he once bluntly said, "I didn't have a stable residence when I was a boy, and I didn't even know where I would live next year, let alone what the future would be like."
Looking at it now, Chan Ka-Kui's words seemed to confirm his inner feeling of alienation from the mainland. Chan Ka-Kui felt that Hong Kong must be saved by "people with lofty ideals" like himself, otherwise it would become an ordinary city.
must avoid making geographical, transportation and immigration arrangements with the mainland, thereby damaging Hong Kong's interests. The most effective way is to directly cut off from "China" and achieve Hong Kong's independence.

Chen Jiaju wanted to carry out some illegal political activities. As a teenager, Chen Jiaju faced the pressure of life. He didn't know if he would be able to eat bread tomorrow, and even suffered from depression . He felt that he would never be able to afford real estate in Hong Kong.
Therefore, the setbacks in life made Chen Jiaju further indignant. He hated society more and more, and directly embarked on the route of "Hong Kong independence". He even said "I am very disgusted with Hong Kong, why do I have to live like this" and "I must engage in 'Hong Kong independence', because this can cure depression!"

2. Alienation of Chen Jiaju
During the 2008 Beijing Olympics , Chen Jiaju once supported the national team. The 18-year-old Chen Jiaju believed that he could fight and express his demands in a relatively mild way. He also learned early that people in politics must maintain their own image, so he must be neatly dressed, polite and never use foul language when he goes out.
But this is exactly his purpose. He once said "It is necessary to carefully manage the public image of oneself and the organization, because it is crucial to promoting ideas and goals."
This was the period when "Hong Kong independence" organizations came to the fore. Radical local and "Hong Kong independence" organizations such as "Hong Kong Local Power", "Hot-blooded Citizens", "Hong Kong People First" and "Local Democracy Front" were established in large numbers.
In 2013, Chen Jiaju joined the relatively "moderate" Civic Party, but Chen Jiaju found that this party was really boring and could not bring about the changes he wanted to society. He even felt that if you had to organize social gatherings and distribute mooncakes, and if the benefits were small, the residents would simply ignore you, let alone listen to any of your ideas.

Compared with the Civic Party, Chan Ka-kui's favorite is the "Hong Kong independence" force. When he saw members of "Hong Kong People First" holding the British Hong Kong flag and breaking into the Tamar barracks of the headquarters of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in Hong Kong in 2013, he secretly applauded and was extremely eager to participate.
In 2014, the illegal "Occupy Central" movement in Hong Kong made Chen Jiaju even more excited. He was overjoyed to see the "Hong Kong independence" forces launching a direct challenge to the authority of the central government.
He participated in some activities and assisted the "Hong Kong independence" forces in managing supplies. However, Chen Jiaju found that he was fired from the company where he worked during the dozens of days of Occupy Central. This made him feel even worse and even more hostile to society.
Chen Jiaju thought about why the "Occupy Central" movement failed. He actually felt that these people were not extreme enough, so he quit the Civic Party in 2015 and began to actively prepare to participate in the district council elections.

His goal failed in the end, and what awaited him was a series of tragic defeats. He joined the "Indigenous Democratic Front" and wanted to use this platform to run for elections, but this organization had no plans to run for the election. Frustrated, he quickly left and joined the "Youth New Deal", but this newly joined organization did not give him a chance.
Chan Ka-Kui's speculative activities failed one after another. He became more extreme and praised the "Mong Kok Riots" that occurred during the Spring Festival in 2016. He even praised the "Hong Kong independence" and "insulting China" remarks made by Tony Leung Chung-hang and Yau Wai-chen in the "Youth New Deal". wanted to push the "Hong Kong independence" issue to the forefront of Hong Kong's political society and disrupt everything in Hong Kong.
In order to gain fame, Chen Jiaju began to "stand on his own feet." In March 2018, he established the "Students Independence Alliance" and the "Hong Kong Independence Alliance" as the convener of two organizations. He also came up with the slogan "Hong Kong independence, fight to the death" to lure young people to become his cannon fodder.

Chan Ka Kui's reputation is too small. He dreams of imitating the "feat" of Leung Chung Hang and Yau Wai Chen in the "Youth New Deal" who made anti-China remarks in the House of Representatives.
He also wanted to trample on the dignity of the country, insult the Chinese people, and seriously hurt the feelings of the entire Chinese nation. He also used the remarks of the Japanese militarist thugs who massacred the Chinese people to justify himself. All kinds of actions are outrageous and shameless.
In order to create an image of the big brother of the "Hong Kong independence" forces, Chen Jiaju overlapped the personnel and activities of his two organizations and tried every means to increase his voice in Hong Kong. He began to proclaim himself a "leader", but he still faced the dilemma of extremely difficult funding, lack of office space and full-time staff.
However, what he did also attracted the attention of the media. At that time, the central government and the SAR government decided to use a "zero tolerance" stance to crack down on and contain "Hong Kong independence".

However, Chan Ka Kui began to intensify his efforts and frequently appeared in interviews with reporters. has been promoting his anti-China remarks and even said that his cause is extremely great. Once successful, Hong Kong will be "peaceful forever."
On July 1, 2018, Chen Jiaju directly went to the British Consulate in Hong Kong with his supporters to launch a petition, claiming that local policies violated the Sino-British Joint Declaration of that year.
This incident of Chan Ka-Kui also indirectly contributed to another political group under the British Conservative Party launching the "Hong Kong Return to the United Kingdom Movement", brazenly saying that "Hong Kong must be returned to the United Kingdom."
html On September 5, Chan Ka-Kui once again clamored for "Hong Kong independence and fight to the death." On this day, the Hong Kong Legislative Council held a public hearing on the "National Anthem Law." Chan Ka-Kui's actions naturally caused him to be expelled immediately. But he was not convinced. He raised the banner of "Hong Kong Independence" on October 1, and even meddleed in supporting the independence of Catalonia.

At the end of 2018, Chan Ka Kui, together with the "Hong Kong National Front", "Spark Alliance" and other "Hong Kong independence" organizations, went to the US Consulate General in Hong Kong to "petition". tearfully denounced Hong Kong, saying that the current government was wrong, and once again reiterated the need for "Hong Kong independence."
In 2019, Chan Ka Kui even began to join forces with Joshua Wong and others' "Hong Kong People's Will" to advocate a "brave" resistance. During this period, they accepted financial aid from Britain, the United States and "Taiwan independence" forces, and they relied on the support of reactionary forces to rob and burn Hong Kong.
However, at this time, Chen Jiaju and others also thought of a way out. They wanted to persuade the Taiwan authorities to amend the so-called "Refugee Law" to provide them with "political asylum."
On June 9, 2019, Chen Jiaju and others were arrested because his "Students Independence Alliance" and "Hong Kong Demosisto" and other organizations convened a large number of thugs to attack the Legislative Council. These people surrounded the Legislative Council building and had violent conflicts with the police.

3. Epilogue
But the other side of Chen Jiaju is even more disgusting. He kept saying that he founded the organization for Hong Kong, but after he gained a certain "reputation", he began to frequently date girlfriends, and he had four girlfriends in two years.
They are Jennifer Chow, Huang Ziyue, the former spokesperson of "Scholars' Thought", his girlfriend surnamed Xu, and He Yongtong.
The media even revealed that he was extremely sentimental and had countless unknown "one-night flings". It seemed that his vow for Hong Kong had long since disappeared.
When the National Security Law of Hong Kong was enacted, Chen Jiaju knew that he was about to face a catastrophe and wanted to flee quickly. In fact, it was revealed that he was a big liar who put on a show of misery and had been taking human life lightly.

People like Chen Jiaju will one day be swept into the past of history. Although he fled to a foreign country, this just proves that the "truth" he insists on is simply vulnerable.
Chan Ka Kui's escape from Hong Kong is actually a scene of the collapse of Hong Kong independence forces. His Facebook account and the so-called "Student Independence Alliance" account were very active in updating frequency before, but on May 26, 2020, they suddenly stopped updating when he was about to escape.
In 2022, Chen Jiaju was at the end of his strength, and people later discovered that he had fled from the Netherlands to the United Kingdom. The town where he was located, 80 kilometers away from London, was the place where many British officials in Hong Kong stayed temporarily before the return of Hong Kong to .

Now Chen Jiaju is in trouble all the time, and even said that his visa is about to expire, and he can't even pay the renewal fee of 26,000 Hong Kong dollars.
However, Chan Ka-Kui still arrogantly expresses his political speech on social media, advocating that Hong Kong people "fight to the death". Unfortunately, times have changed, and Chan Ka-Kui no longer has the capital to make noise. The arrogant Hong Kong independence elements are now defeated, which is ridiculous.
