Daishan has been eager to learn since childhood and strives to improve. Tianshun (1464) was a Jinshi. Although he passed the Jinshi, he was honest and did not ask for help, so he did not become an official for many years. However, he was later awarded the title of Censor, and was able to study politics in the south. He relied on his own righteousness to correct others and then correct others. Many scholars were sincere.
In the 14th year of Chenghua (1478), he was transferred to Shaanxi's deputy envoy and was still in charge of the political education. Because of his emphasis on teaching, Shaanxi academic circles admire him very much and cultivated many talents. He then served as the Zhejiang Censor and Fujian Provincial Governor. However, the Grand Secretary Liu Ji often secretly obstructed, so he was recommended by the emperor. I am sorry that I cannot get his post, so I submitted a memorial to beg for resignation, but the emperor refused. Shu said, "If the recommendation is not effective, it will be a crime." The emperor examined the recommendation of his own, and he was indeed a virtuous person, so he always listened to any plan and accepted Shu for a while. In the second year of Hongzhi (1489), Dai Shan was recommended by Wang Shu to take over as Governor Zheng Shizhi of Yang. In May, the imperial edict was issued: "Dai Shan, the governor of Fujian, was promoted to the right deputy chief censor of the Censorate of the Censorate of , and was governed by Tanyang and other places."
Dai Shan took office shortly after he arrived, when Sichuan Ye Wang Gang led the crowd to rob Zhushan , Pingli and other places. The residents were troubled by harassment and fled the valley. Shan met with the Sichuan and Shaanxi troops, and issued an edict to the deputy envoy Zhu Han and others to fight against each other. They captured his kui and his followers alive. According to the Ming law, both should be executed. Shan only investigated his first offender. The rest were all considered as a threat, and many people were alive, and they were praised as a virtue and political. In May of the third year of Hongzhi (1490), Xingshan County, Jingzhou Prefecture, Huguang was reorganized. According to the county, it was originally set up since , Hongwu , and later merged into Guizhou. Because the people's words were inconvenient, it was re-stated. The land of fang County was wide, more than a thousand miles from east to west, and the mountains were deep and dense forests were dense. Every time there were police officers, the county magistrate was out of reach and the place was difficult to calm. So he asked Xiuwen, two miles of Yiyang to cut off the house and Baokang County, and was still under Yangfu. However, this request was not true until Dai Shan left office.
Dai Shan was reigned during the reign of Yunyang, and the local government was transformed into peace and had significant results in governance. In March of the fourth year of Hongzhi (1491), he was ordered to serve as the Minister of Justice, and then promoted to the Zuodu Censor, and Governor Yang was transferred to the Shandong Left Governor Wang Dao to succeed him. The Ministry of Justice is one of the six ministries. It is in charge of the country's laws and criminal affairs. How to sentence is of great importance. At that time, Zhu Zhonggang, the King of Ninghua, a prince of the Jin Prefecture in Taiyuan, was lewd and unfilial, and could not be found in the investigation. The emperor ordered Shan to investigate it again. After verification and report, he took the title and imprisoned him. In the fifth year (1492), the Qizhou in Huguang was granted a vassal of King Jing 2 Zhu Jianxiao and his eldest son Youbing were illegal. After Shan verified and reported that the emperor summoned Xiao to Beijing, and his eldest son was demoted to common people. The strict law enforcement was not allowed to the royal family. In the 17th year of Hongzhi (1540), the court inspected the capital officials. Shan Ben Lianjie was incompatible. The ministers of Wu Shun and Wang Gai Lianxue defeated the Minister of War , Ma Wensheng, and falsely accused Dai Shan of his wife of accepting bribes. Shan refused to argue with him and begged to be dismissed. The censor Feng Yunzhong and others reported: "Wensheng and Shan have been doing things for many dynasties, and they have always been dedicated to the virtues of the Qing Dynasty. They should not abolish the scriptures because of their words." The emperor kept the matter and left the matter for nothing, so he dismissed Wu and Wang.
At the end of Hongzhi, Shan was old and sick, and her son was still young, so she asked for retreat several times, but she always ordered her to keep her. So Shan Tui asked the same Jinshi as the same year and the same court as Liu Daxia and the same court as the emperor. Daxia Yishan actually complained about his illness and begged to listen to his return. Zhu Youzhao, Xiaozong, said, "Would you be yours? The master keeps the guest strong, but the guest will force him to stay. Shan cannot keep it for me? Besides, I will pay the world's affairs to you, just like your family, father and son. Now there is no sign of peace, how can you bear to return?" Daxia came out and told him with the emperor's words. Shan cried and said, "I am the official after I die!" Soon after, Emperor Xiaozong passed away, and Emperor Wuzong Zhu Houzhao succeeded to the throne and changed his reign to Zhengde . Shan started to establish a new king, but couldn't bear to say anything and took the disease to see things. The disease could not be cured, so she died.According to the obituary, Yang Yi, the censor of Shaanxi in Beijing and dozens of children from several countries, they all wrote a memorial saying: "The resume of Shanxi is flawless. His supervisors are mainly about teaching according to their talents and being honest and solid. There are many talents from all over the world, and scholars will return it." They also mentioned the virtues that governed Yang, which means "there is no wrongful person." It also said: "He is in charge of the affairs of the Censorate, and is in charge of his subordinates, and his discipline is in a serious manner." The emperor reported that he was posthumously named "Gongjian" and was granted the crown prince Taibao, and the historical records should commend his affairs.
