Origin of place name. According to the "Sujiatun District Chronicle, Jianzhen", Jindatai Village, Shenshui Street was built during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Because there was beacon tower nearby and there were many Jin surnames in the village, it was named.
Also according to the 1986 place name inscription (general meaning), a village was formed in the early Qing Dynasty. Because there was a beacon tower in the east of the village, many surnames of Jin lived here, so it was named Jin Datai.
Jindatai Village, Fourth Ring Road passes through the village, adjacent to Daigujiazi Village in the east, facing Ren'er Fort and Tongluo Village in the south, bordering Zhangdang Fort in the west, and bounding to Yangmengda Village in the northwest. To the north is the village of Sishubao.

It has a cultivated land area of 2,533 mu, an agricultural population of 628 and a labor force of 306. In 1999, the per capita net income was 3,600 yuan, an increase of 640% over 1983. It is a well-off village with no internal debts or external debts, and no farmers have any debts to be arrears.
School education. Yang Mengda Primary School Jindatai Branch was established in 1958. In October 1985, there were 5 classes, 88 students and 8 teachers. It covers an area of 6873 square meters and has a construction area of 300 square meters.
