The long river of time has been flowing. Things change, times develop, and life changes dramatically. Looking back on the past, many things have been forgotten. There are some things that are new for a long time. The pulsation and excitement of that period of time now feels so peaceful and natural.

I was born in Beichen District, Tianjin (called Beijiao District at the time), and later I went to the city with my parents. In 1965, he was admitted to Tianjin No. 18 Middle School. Its predecessor was Huiwen Middle School, which was founded in 1890 (and also said that it was founded in 1888).
1968, the school seemed to have changed. With the admission of the first year of the new junior high school, there are still 70th classes in the school, and the absolute number of students has not decreased and there is still an increase. However, our traditional boys' school, which was founded in 1890, has become a mixed school for men and women. Enrollment in the exam becomes the nearby admission. New life and we seem to be two worlds. We all understand that it's time for us to leave school.
Where to go after school? There are no suitable jobs waiting for us in Tianjin. There are only two ways out, one is to find a way out, and the other is to go to the countryside and . If the school contacts the countryside, it is within Wuchuan County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
We are the only class in history. We have been in school for more than three years and are still in the first grade of junior high school. We even received a piece of paper for junior high school graduation certificate.
Where my family lived at that time was in the area of Xinqing, the Yellow River Road today. It is a small courtyard of six families. The house is very simple. It is a rental house specially built by real estate owners in the 1940s. Not far from the entrance of the alley, there is a remnant of a bunker that was blown up by the People's Liberation Army's artillery shells.
In those days, the theme of chatting in the courtyard was to go to the countryside. A driver from a long distance traveling year round lives next door to my house. His surname is Zhou. He is a well-informed person in the yard. When I found out something new, I came back from get off work and said loudly as soon as I entered the yard. In the second half of 1968, the driver entered the yard and almost said that he had gone to the countryside. The most memorable time was when he almost shouted: "The city has made a reservation. The educated youth went to the countryside to arrange a 500-year-old house payment, and gave a 25-meter-long cloth ticket, a cotton coat, cotton pants, cotton hats, and ate commercial grain for the first year, and a fixed amount of 45 kilograms per month..." The sound was loud, and the people in the yard could hear it clearly. Even the people in the yard opposite the door heard it, and ran over to ask if it was true.
The song that was broadcast the most frequently on the radio was "Chairman Mao's Warriors Listen to the Party's Words the Most". Lyrics and melody, I still remember: "Chairman Mao's soldiers listened to the party's words the most, and went wherever they needed, and settled their families wherever they were hard. The motherland needed me to guard the border. I would go when I carried the gun, and I would go when I picked up my backpack and set off..."
There were no indicators for staying in the city to allocate work in the first year of junior high school and senior high school. Everyone knows this. The troops recruited soldiers, and everyone signed up and took the physical examination. In the end, only five or six people in our class were wearing military uniforms. After the students who joined the army left, the seniors went to work, the soldiers, and the soldiers who went to the countryside to the Corps, all left cleanly. We moved from the building classroom, and at this time, our class's classroom moved to the bungalow classroom next to the west building.

It seems that Wang Wenbo said that it would be best if everyone is together, if there are fewer people, they are easily excluded and bullied (at that time, there were really a few people in the class who were infected with the habit of gangsters in society, and a few of us were bullied). Everyone discusses, why don’t we organize about 10 people and also come to the Long March team? After saying this, everyone thought it was feasible.

There were several negotiations, and Teacher Yang Shuliang was present. Teacher Zhao Zuoping is here twice. Since the Long March team was confirmed to be established, the two teachers were present almost throughout the whole process and reported to the school at any time.

At that time, the counterpart of our school going to the countryside was Wuchuan County . Song Xiutang from the Wuchuan County Education Youth Office introduced the situation in Wuchuan County to us in the auditorium of our school. It is said that Wuchuan County has agricultural areas and semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral areas. Every household makes vinegar and vermicelli, there are flocks of sheep and horses, and the main crop is wheat... They depict pictures of riding horses, eating white flour and eating mutton with great romantic and luxurious atmosphere. What impressed me the most was that every household made vinegar and vermicelli. My mother knows how to make noodle sauce, and she has never made it since I was sensible. The school is very supportive of the Long March team we established to go to the countryside. Reporting, the green light was all the way. Finally, the city approved it, and specially approved the members of the Long March team and the teachers who led the team, each of whom had 100 kilograms of national food coupons and 100 yuan a month as the expense of staying in a top-notch hotel on the road.
1967, autumn harvest. My classmates and I went to Wuqing County to support agriculture under the organization of the school. Cut soybeans, cut corn stalks ... The landlord does not boil water at home, and the whole family drinks cold water in the jar. So are classmates. I saw that everyone was fine. I was so thirsty that day that day that, my throat was almost smoking, so I took the scoop of water from the water tank and drank two scoops of water. Unexpectedly, he suffered from poisonous dysentery that night and was unconscious. He was sent by the Air Force to send a car to Tianjin Jingangqiao Hospital.
In order to recover from the illness, I lived in my hometown village for a lot of time.
Back then, the teachers and classmates in the school were almost cautious in their words and actions. I live in my aunt's house in the village. My aunt's nephews spoke without any restraint. The few words that I remember most deeply still remember: "Workers don't work, students don't attend classes, it's no big deal. Try farmers don't farm, they all go to make trouble. At that time, there was no grain, no vegetables, no toilets, and no one to take out the food, no food, no toilets, see how the people in the city live."
In winter, after I recovered from my illness, I used chalk tips on our classroom on the blackboard in our class (I found two or three chalk tips at the beginning, and later I bought a box of chalk myself.) wrote the proposal of resuming classes and called for resuming classes: " Industrial Daqing , Agricultural Dazhai, are all focusing on revolution and promoting production. I don’t know how to ask for instructions and report, but I just simply feel that I can’t keep going so messy. Students should sit in the classroom at school. These behaviors were valued by the school, so Mr. Yang Shuliang was sent to the class to do work. With the support of the school and the joint efforts of Teacher Yang, Teacher Zhao and the classmates in the class, our class was the first to complete the whole class's return to the classroom. The tables and chairs have also been replaced with new ones. This makes me feel that what I do is useless. Since then, Teacher Yang Shuliang has been doing a lot of work in our class.
After the Long March team formed, the school sent Teacher Yang Shuliang to accompany us Long March . Teacher Yang Shuliang's elders work as importers and exporters in Macau, specializing in the Great Wall Carpet business. At that time, the products of Hohhot Carpet Factory in Inner Mongolia were exported through the Great Wall Carpet. Teacher Yang Shuliang brought a Leica 120 camera. The photos taken along the way were all using this camera. Master Wang Shuhai, a member of the Workers' Propaganda Team who worked in the school at that time, was entrusted by the school to serve as the team leader with Yang Shuliang. Master Wang was a member of the troops entering Suiyuan. He entered Suiyuan , crossed Yalu River , was familiar with the roads and the matters of long-distance marching.
