"Does the numerology look at the wounds and observe the wounds, and the judgment is made. If the lawsuit is decided, the justice must be done."
This record describing the ancient forensic dissection of the dead and the examination of the trauma is from the Confucian classic " Rites ". In other words, Chinese forensic existed as early as the pre-Qin period. There are two main reasons for the existence of forensic doctors. The first is criminal investigation; the second is to find out the cause of death of the deceased. In other words, anyone who is considered to be an abnormal death needs to undergo a dissection to find out the truth. For thousands of years, it is precisely because of the profession of forensic medicine that many injustices can be fulfilled and many truths can be found.
However, with the development of the times, although the job of forensic doctors has not changed, what they find on corpses is no longer limited to the cause of death and the truth, but more about discovering social changes and the ugliness of human nature from corpses.
The famous Japanese forensic doctor Nishiomoto discovered some very serious problems from the cause of the death of the deceased, so he said:
"Our country must be sick."
Nishiomoto was born in Osaka, Japan in 1962. Later, he studied at Kagawa Medical University in Japan. After graduation, he became a forensic doctor. Forensic doctors have the responsibility of "the right for the living and the words for the dead". Nishio Moto understands this. He devoted himself to work with the attitude of being responsible for the deceased and overcame psychological fears and physiological reactions.
People often have a deep impression of their first job, and so is Nishio Yuan. He first formally worked and met a woman who died after being stabbed by kitchen knife in the chest. Although Nishiomoto was just starting out, he knew very well that he must now find out whether the deceased died of excessive blood loss or whether the weapon hit an important organ of the body and caused death. The relationship between
is that the former means that the murderer is very light in force, while the latter means that the murderer is very hard and has a very obvious murderous intent.
However, it is difficult to find out the real cause of death from external observation. Only anatomy can reveal the truth. After dissection of
Nishiomoto found that the woman's heart was pierced, which shows that the murderer wanted to kill the woman at that time, which was a deliberate act.
The murderer did not admit that he was intentional murder at first, but in the face of the data given in the autopsy report, the murderer could only lower his head and admit his crime.
It turned out that the deceased was his wife. He still didn't repent after he discovered his cheating many times, so he killed him.
After this work, Nishiomoto gained a deeper understanding of the profession of forensics. The judicial anatomy of can determine and judge whether the suspect's behavior and the death of the deceased are directly related to the truth and fairness.
In the next 20 years, Nishiomoto dissected nearly 200 bodies every year. By 2010, he had dissected more than 3,000 bodies. As an old forensic doctor, he has collected a lot of information and data over the years. Japan has an abnormal death toll of 15% every year, and the bodies he encounters are just the tip of the iceberg.
However, it was the tip of this iceberg that made him discover many social problems. For this reason, he condensed his 20-year work record into a book called "Forensic Notes". In this book, he not only wrote about 40 very special cases, but also explained the social problems in Japan through these cases.
In 40 cases, more than 70% of the deceased were elderly and children.
The first case was an elderly man who hanged himself. But strangely, there were no bruises on the old man’s neck from the rope, only some red scars. This reminded him of the common killing method in Japan, which was twisted.
However, after the police added information, he realized that the old man had committed suicide by hanging himself with a towel, which explained the reason why there were no rope bruises on the neck. In addition, the information also states that although children respect the elderly, they live alone because they are afraid of causing trouble for their children. Perhaps it is because the old man is too lonely and cannot see the hope of life, so he eventually chooses the path of death.
There are not many cases of suicide due to loneliness in the elderly. Many abnormal deaths of elderly people are caused by abuse by their children.
As we all know, although Japan has learned Chinese culture, it has not learned filial piety, so Japanese children basically have no habit of supporting the elderly. The elderly do not want to cause trouble for their children. As long as their children are healthy, have a smooth work and have a happy family, they will be happy.
However, with the development of the times, people's life pressure increases, and their children will not only not support the elderly, but will instead exploit them. Many elderly people have emptied everything, but their children are still not satisfied. Therefore, some children began to abuse their parents, and many elderly people could not withstand the torture and chose to commit suicide. Or some elderly people were directly abused to death.
Of course, in addition to the elderly, there are children.
A 2-year-old child died of heat stroke. Nishiomoto felt it was strange that the child died on June 26th, and the weather was not very hot, so why did he die of heatstroke?
When he opened the information, he found out that the child was locked in the car by his parents for 2 hours. Under the scorching sun, the temperature in the car reached more than 40 degrees. How can a 2-year-old tolerate it?
According to Nishioyu statistics, about 3,000 children in Japan die in the car every year due to the negligence of their parents.
However, compared to this unintentional mistake, more children are tortured to death.
There is a case where a three-month-old baby girl died of intracranial hemorrhage. The father explained that his hand slipped when he was holding it and the child fell to the ground. However, during the examination of Nishiomon, the baby's eyeballs were bleeding, which was not a phenomenon that ordinary injuries could cause.
Nishiweiyuan immediately performed an autopsy and found that the baby's brain bleeding was very large, and the hematoma compressed the brain and caused the child to die. This is not counting. Through physical examination, he found that the child had multiple fractures on his body. So, after all, it is certain that the child must have suffered violent beatings.
In the face of the iron fact, the child's father finally admitted that he was abused by the child.
However, this is not an isolated case. According to his statistics, one-third of the abnormal deaths of in Japan are caused by abuse.
The frequent death of elderly people and children has become the current situation in Japan. What is even more touching is that in these cases, 60% of the murderers are the families of the deceased.
When Nishiomoto summed up these data, he couldn't help but sigh: "Our country must be sick." Why did his family become the deadliest murderer? The family members who caused the death of the elderly and their children due to negligence may be forgiven, but what do they think of those families who killed the elderly and their children?
Nishio Moto is just a forensic doctor. He is not a psychologist and he cannot understand why these people do this. But he is sure that in his 20 years of experience, he has dissected more than 3,000 corpses, and there are more and more abnormal deaths of the elderly and children. This only shows that there are problems in Japanese society and "the country must be sick."
Although Nishio Moto was very moved by this, he was more hopeful. He hopes to use the method of dissecting the dead and discovering the cause of death to tell the world how to avoid death and how to make the living live better.
Perhaps this is the real meaning of the forensic profession.
