From May 28 to June 1, 1953, the first Shanghai Congress of the China New Democratic Youth League was held, and the Shanghai Committee of the China New Democratic Youth League was established. There are also items on display that bear witness to this "first" - the notice (revised draft) of the Youth League Municipal Working Committee on convening the first Shanghai Congress of the New Democratic Youth League of China and the conference representative certificate.
