Li Baohua happened to catch up with the school holiday on the day his father was arrested. He and his younger brother Li Lehua played chess at Tsinghua University . In April 1933, the secret organization of the underground party in Peiping buried Mr. Li Dazhao in the Xiangshan Wanan Cemetery. Zhao Renlan passed away in the second month due to excessive grief. The Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China held an interim meeting. At the meeting, it was unanimously decided that in view of Zhao Renlan's performance over the years, especially her perseverance in cultivating and educating children to join the revolution after Li Dazhao's sacrifice, she was posthumously recognized as a member of the Communist Party of China.
Li Baohua was appointed by the party organization at that time to engage in secret party work in his hometown. Although he was deeply saddened by the bad news, he still insisted on staying at his job.
Because of his long years of revolutionary work, Li Baohua has always been alone.
Fortunately, fate soon came to Li Baohua.
During the Anti-Japanese War, Li Baohua served as Secretary of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. It was during this period that he met his wife Tian Yingxuan.

Tian Yingxuan is one of the famous "Three Anti-Japanese Sisters Behind Enemy Lines" in North China. Because they were born in an enlightened family, the three sisters later joined the Communist Party of China.In 1939, the Communist Party of China was preparing to hold the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and Tian Yingxuan was also selected as one of the representatives. The party organization in the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei base area immediately gathered these seven representatives to study together.
In January 1940, after Tian Yingxuan packed her parcel, she went to Jingergou Village, Fuping County, deep in the Taihang Mountains, to report to the district party committee. The person responsible for receiving her happened to be Li Baohua. Due to work needs, Li Baohua used the pseudonym Zhao Zhensheng.
When Tian Yingxuan first entered the place where Li Baohua lived, she was also surprised. She found that the chief had placed his desk directly on the kang, and she couldn't help but admire him for his serious and responsible attitude. Later Tian Yingxuan went to the Border Area Women's Rescue Association to visit her eldest sister Tian Xiujuan (the wife of Sun Yi, then chief of staff of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region). She learned from her eldest sister that Zhao Zhensheng was Li Baohua, the eldest son of martyr Li Dazhao, and her affection for him doubled.
During the following three months of training and study, Tian Yingxuan and Li Baohua developed feelings.
After they went to Yan'an together, Li Baohua often asked Tian Yingxuan out on dates, and the two of them walked along the Yanhe together.

Li Hongta was born on May 28, 1949, on the eve of the founding of New China. Compared with the era when his brothers and sisters were born, his living environment was slightly better.
But his father, Li Baohua, was the second secretary of the Peking Municipal Party Committee at the time, and was later transferred to the Ministry of Water Resources as deputy minister. His mother, Tian Yingxuan, was originally the secretary of the municipal party committee, but he was unwilling to do government work and insisted on going to the front line to engage in industrial construction, so he took the initiative to apply for transfer. When I arrived at the Changxindian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Factory, I naturally couldn't take care of my family.
Because Li Baohua and Tian Yingxuan were both busy with work at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Li Hongta was sent to a nursery when he was only 19 days old. In fact, as a couple, they could hire a nanny. This was not only convenient, but also easier to take care of. , But Li Baohua insisted on sending his son to nursery school. In an interview in his later years, Li Hongta recalled a small incident with his father.
Once, several guests came to the house and brought a few packs of raisins, which were relatively rare at the time. Li Hongta, who was young and carefree, saw that the guests had left, and immediately opened a pack and ate it. In 1966, after graduating from middle school, Li Hongta proposed to his family that he would sign up to join the army. His family members all supported his decision. After hearing his son's idea, his father Li Baohua also agreed, but he was worried that his son would not be able to endure hardship, so before leaving, Call your son to your side Instructions:
"Be prepared to endure great hardships. If you cannot endure hardships, you will not be an adult."
Whether he joined the army or later joined the workforce, Li Hongta always regarded his father's words as his motto and implemented them throughout his life.

After Li Hongta entered the civil affairs system, he spent at least half of his time in villages and towns every year. After working in the Anhui Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Li Hongta personally presided over the housing allocation work for more than ten years.
