In 1920, Wang Huaixiang was born in Taitou Town in Shandong Province, my country. He was born into a peasant family and had seen the tragic situation of broken mountains and rivers when he was young.
When the country was in trouble, Wang Huaixiang, with a passionate patriotic heart, felt that he should make a difference. Driven by this idea, Wang Huaixiang joined the Communist Party of China at the age of 17, and the following year joined the guerrillas of the Eighth Route Army and began his journey of revolutionary resistance.
For Wang Huaixiang at that time, it was glorious and fortunate to be able to join our party and become a soldier. He didn't know what his future would be like, nor how many difficulties and obstacles he would encounter. He just made this choice and walked on firmly.
Facts have proved that Wang Huaixiang’s choice this time was correct. After many years of anti-Japanese war career, Wang Huaixiang ushered in the founding of New China. But before the newly established country could take a breath, the Korean War broke out.
At that time, the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea had to be fought, and had to be fought, so Wang Huaixiang was dispatched by the central government and led his troops to fight in North Korea.
During this period, Wang Huaixiang made a greater contribution to the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea with his outstanding performance, and after returning to China, he was awarded North Korea's second-level Medal of Freedom and Independence .
After this, Wang Huaixiang was transferred to the Northeast to serve, and served as the minister of the Cadre Department of the Northeast Military Region. At the conferment ceremony in 1955, Wang Huaixiang was awarded the rank of senior colonel.
Nine years later, he was awarded the rank of major general. By this time, Wang Huaixiang's life was still developing in a prosperous direction, but the arrival of the Cultural Revolution put Wang Huaixiang once again on the balance of choice.
During the special period, Wang Huaixiang was sent to Jilin to serve. As his position rose, he became the top leader of Jilin Province in 1971, that is, the provincial party committee secretary of Jilin Province. But Wang Huaixiang did not lead Jilin to develop better as people expected. Instead, he became a supporter of the "Gang of Four".
When Wang Huaixiang presided over the work of Jilin Province, he not only promoted the idea of the "Great Leap Forward", but also created many unjust, false and wrong cases, which brought great trauma to the lives of the people of Jilin Province.
What is even more surprising is that after the fall of the "Gang of Four", Wang Huaixiang still persisted in preventing the country and people from criticizing and punishing the "Gang of Four". This choice also dealt a heavy blow to Wang Huaixiang.
Because Wang Huaixiang was too close to the "Gang of Four", the central government later conducted a detailed review of the relationship between Wang Huaixiang and the "Gang of Four". The review results showed that many of the policies Wang Huaixiang implemented in Jilin Province were inspired by the "Gang of Four".
He relied on the "Gang of Four" to benefit, but he forgot about the people and his beliefs, and was blinded by the momentary glory. In any case, what Wang Huaixiang did during the Cultural Revolution cannot be forgiven.
When Wang Huaixiang was 57 years old, he was suspended for review and spent the gloomiest period since he entered politics. The review of Wang Huaixiang lasted until eight years before the final result was reached. So when Wang Huaixiang was 65 years old, he was expelled from the party and removed from his position.
After that, Wang Huaixiang gradually faded out of people's sight. In 2013, Wang Huaixiang died of illness at the age of 93.
After retiring from politics, Wang Huaixiang's life in his later years was considered peaceful and peaceful. However, this ups and downs of life eventually gave Wang Huaixiang many different colors. Strengthening our beliefs should be our first priority when making choices.
