Among them is the " Actress Club " founded in Tianjin, and its founders Deng Yingchao, Li Chishan, Chen Xiaocen and other intellectuals with preliminary communist ideas.

In 1920, as the original members of the Awakening Society went to Europe to work and study, the Awakening Society gradually disbanded. On April 25, 1923, Deng Yingchao, Li Chishan, Chen Xiaocen and other members of the Awakening Society who stayed in Tianjin officially founded the Women's Star. The purpose of the society is to promote the women's liberation movement.

This society was originally located at No. 10 Wuchangli, Dajing Road, Hebei Province, and later moved to No. 10 Darenli, Dama Road, Hebei Province. It is a bungalow with a brick and wood structure. Now Wuchangli and Darenli are gone. In 1993, the Tianjin Municipal Government moved the "former site of the Actress Club" to next to the Enlightenment Society Memorial Hall in Sanjieli, Zhouwei Road. It was officially restored in 2009 and officially became the Actress Club Memorial Hall in 2016.

This actress club in Tianjin has actually existed for only 2 years. By 1925, due to surveillance by relevant departments, Deng Yingchao, Liu Qingyang, and Li Chishan left Jinnan one after another, and the Actress Club ceased its activities. But in the past two years, the Actress Club has done a lot, developed more than 20 members across the country, and became a well-known women's liberation movement club in the country.

One is the founder of two publications. Among them, the "Actress" weekly was founded in 1923, with editor-in-chief Li Chishan, editor Deng Yingchao, and publisher Chen Xiaocen. It is one of the supplements of "New People's Daily" sponsored by Ma Qianli, and has published a total of 57 issues. On New Year's Day in 1924, "Women's Daily" was founded as a propaganda base for the actress club. General manager Liu Qingyang, editor-in-chief Li Chishan, and editors Deng Yingchao and Zhou Yi. It was published for a total of 9 months.

The second is to open a series of training courses. On July 5, 1923, Tianjin No. 1 Tutorial School for Actresses was founded. On May 1, 1924, the Actress Club established the "Actress Weekly Compulsory Tutorial School" targeting middle- and lower-class housewives. In August of the same year, the Actress Club enlisted the help of Ma Qianli and established a "women's civilian school" in the name of Daren Girls' School.

The third is to actively participate in revolutionary activities. The Female Star Club insists on integrating the women's movement with the workers' movement, and has enthusiastically participated in various major political activities in Tianjin many times. Because of this, the Actress Club gradually came into the sight of the authorities and began to be persecuted. By 1925, it was forced to cease its activities.
