In 1932, the Japanese Kwantung Army General Puyi received from Tianjin to Northeast Changchun and established "Manchukuo". In 1933 (21 years old), Runqi and "Sangege" Yunying married in Changchun.

Less than one month after their marriage, Runqi and Pujie were sent to Japan to study military affairs, accompanied by "Sangege". Runqi learns Japanese first, and then enters the Cavalry Division of the Japanese Non-commissioned Officer School.

During a night combat training, Runqi was injured by a horse, her sunglasses were broken and blood was flowing. Yunying personally took care of her, and the couple stayed together day and night with deep affection.

In August 1945 (33 years old), the Soviet Red Army entered the Northeast. After an air raid warning passed, Runqi's guard Pu Yi boarded the "Queen" train and fled to Dalizigou, Linjiang County, Tonghua (the seat of Japan Iron Ore Company) ). A few days later, Japan announced its unconditional surrender, and Puyi had to read the abdication edict for the third time.

Then, Runqi escorted Pu Yi to Shenyang and tried to fly to Japan. But as soon as they arrived at Shenyang Airport, they became prisoners of the Soviet army.
