Morin will "help NetEase Montreal Games create a new IP and promote NetEase to become one of the world's largest electronic game publishers." He has 24 years of experience in AAA game project, "during his time at Ubisoft, he played a key role in the highly acclaimed Watch Dogs series of game projects and made a huge contribution to the Far Cry series."

NetEase did not disclose what new project Morin will participate in, but said he joined the ranks of "main talents" such as Quantic Dream, Jackalope and Nagoshi Studio.

Morin said: "I'm excited to announce that I will be the creative director of NetEase Games Montreal. I'm honored to join a new team full of passion and talent to create our own IP. This is a special start for me and I can't wait to say more..."
