The annual report of SE reads: "For our business, it is crucial to make popular games accepted by the global market, which provides a larger market in terms of customers and sales. In other words, the Japanese market is no longer enough to achieve the revenue level that enables us to recover development investments and generate profits , so we need to carry out our development efforts based on the assumption that we must succeed in the global market."
