Philippe Ducharme also talked about the fact that horror-themed film and television works such as "Stranger Things" have made "horror" mainstream, while increasing the player base for survival horrors. Many people actually missed games like Death Space at the time, so they wanted to provide these players with an opportunity to play the final upgrade of Death Space while also giving old players something more worthy for them.
Ducharme admits that remaking a game that is still popular with existing fans can be tricky, and as to how Motive solves this problem, he said the team’s philosophy is to try not to “offend existing fans” as much as possible.
"Death Space: Remake" has been confirmed to be released on January 27, 2023. The standard version of Steam in the country is 248 yuan, using one-shot technology and supports simplified Chinese and Chinese dubbing.
