According to RoadtoVR, the MOD group SourceVR has released the long-awaited "Half-Life 2" (2004) VR MOD beta version, bringing a nearly native VR immersion to this Valve iconic game.
"Half-Life 2" VR MOD development began nearly 10 years ago. Despite some reasons, the chief developer had to suspend the MOD work after entering Rockstar Games. However, with MOD developer Cabalistic joining the Source VR team last year, "Half-Life 2" was finally introduced into VR.
Now, the "Half-Life 2" VR MOD has been logged into Steam for free to play by players. Of course, the premise for players to experience this MOD is to have the "Half-Life 2" digital version.

supports VR tracking for all rooms and motion control , supports characters in VR mode to move around, pick up items and climb ladders;
