In 2012, Changge achieved a GDP of 32.1 billion yuan for the whole year, and last year this figure rose to 82.48 billion yuan. In the past ten years, Changge's social economy has achieved leapfrog development.
In contrast, the investment amount and power sales of Changge Power Grid construction have also nearly doubled. In 2012, the city's total annual total was 2.115 billion kWh, and last year, this figure rose to 4.065 billion kWh.
As of now, the number of 35 kV and above substations in Changge has reached 22, including 4 220 kV substations. In the past ten years, 2 new buildings were built at 220 kV and 5 new buildings were built at 110 kV.
The city's transmission and transformation network can carry a maximum load of 803.9 MW, almost doubled compared with 421.74 MW in 2012.
Over the past ten years, Changge Power Grid's service capabilities have continued to improve, and substations are spread throughout the city. It not only supports the city lights to shine like day, but also meets the factory workshops day and night. Behind this is the city power supply company, with the support of the municipal party committee and municipal government, actively builds around the needs of urban planning and economic development.
During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, after continuous construction and transformation, our city has formed a 10 kV grid "hand in hand" loop power supply or dual power supply structure, which greatly alleviates the "bottleneck" situation of electricity use.
During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Changge Power Grid developed rapidly, investing in the construction (expanding) of 12 new substations of 110 kV and above, and investing 502 million yuan to upgrade the distribution network of 10 kV and below, and greatly improving the regional power supply capacity.

The answer of the city power supply company is: "tailored" . In terms of industry, many substations are almost designed and built for enterprises.

It is a special substation "tailored" to meet the growth of electricity load and power quality requirements caused by the development of the Yellow River Cyclone Diamond Project.
"After the production of artificial diamonds has special needs for voltage reliability, we immediately sent relevant professionals to the company for on-site inspection, and invited technical experts from the Henan Academy of Electric Power Sciences to provide on-site technical guidance twice, and held technical seminars many times to discuss solutions together." Nie Xuemin, director of the Power Dispatch Control Center, introduced.
In addition, the 220 kV Xiyanchi substation that will be put into operation in 2021 mainly serves Dazhou Town , Dazhou Industrial Cluster, Circular Economy Industrial Park, and China Fortune Land Development Industrial New City.
In addition, by carrying out physical reserves of engineering materials and project implementation process management, the municipal power supply company has also significantly reduced the cost of users to operate electricity. Last year, the cost of electricity purchases was reduced by 7.509 million yuan.
Last July, in the 2021 Henan Province business environment evaluation, the municipal power supply company's "acquisition of electricity" ranks 15th among the 103 county-level participating units in the province, and Xuchang first. "Xuchang Changge City: Be a good "electricity manager" and help enterprises improve efficiency" was included in the typical case of the year by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
Power supply: The flood caused 4 substations to malfunction, 63,443 households were out of power, and repaired in just 4 days
Last year, the people of Changge ushered in a "big test".
Power emergency repair is one of the "test questions".
In July last year, under the dual influence of continuous heavy rainfall and flood discharge in Foer Lake, floods occurred in many towns in our city. The 110 kV Qinghui and Xiezhuang substations, the 35 kV Guqiao and Yinzhuang substations had water accumulation, and the equipment inside the station was seriously damaged, so they were forced to shut down for emergency avoidance.
Affected by this, 63,443 households in the city were out of power.
In an emergency, the municipal power supply company organized 13 rescue teams, 360 rescue personnel, 5 power vehicles, 32 generators, 89 water pumps, and 6,000-meter emergency cables to quickly start rescue.
After the flood receded, the power supply personnel cleared the silt and wiped the power equipment overnight.
After three days and two nights of uninterrupted emergency repair, at 20:55 on the 24th, the 110 kV Qinghui Substation resumed power transmission. The next day, the other three substations resumed power transmission.
After the disaster is rescue, and after rescue is reconstruction. As of the end of 2021, all 137 power grid reconstruction projects have been completed, achieving 8 months ahead of the time target required by the provincial government.
This year, the municipal power supply company combined with the city's urban construction master plan and the "14th Five-Year Plan" power grid plan, focusing on implementing the "seven special projects" for high-quality development of Changge Power Grid, and comprehensively improving the level of power supply services from six aspects: improving the "supply guarantee" of strong power grids, polishing the "golden signboard" for serving customers, and enhancing the "sense of gain" of electricity use services.
Over the past decade, the municipal power supply company has continuously improved the network structure , improved the insulation rate, effective contact rate, and improved the line natural disaster resistance. The average annual power outage time and annual average number of power outages for customers in the city have been greatly reduced. In 2021, the city's average annual power supply reliability rate was 99.8856%.
