2022 Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Forum, China Energy Economics Research Institute released the "2022 Global Top 500 New Energy Enterprises Ranking".
CATL , GX Group , Vestas, GE Energy and LG Energy are the top five in this ranking. Judging from the countries where the companies on the list are headquartered, there are 245 companies in my country on the list.
Today's data extracts the information of the countries where the companies on the list are located in "2022 Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises Rankings", combine them with the population of each country and GDP, and observe the distribution overview of this list.
In 2022, a total of 37 countries have entered the New Energy 500 list. According to the continents where each country is located, the number of companies on the list is distributed as shown in the figure below.
From the perspective of various continents, there are 318 in Asia, 101 in Europe, 63 in North America, Latin America, Africa and Oceania companies on the list, all of which are less than 10.
From a country perspective, there are 245 in my country, 57 in the United States, 44 in Japan, 20 in Germany, 14 in South Korea, and 12 in France.
In the eyes of developed countries, new energy is a new round of technical barriers, but unexpectedly, my country has such huge advantages in this field, and their technical barriers are likely to quickly turn into disadvantages.
Therefore, we can boldly predict that many developed countries, including Europe and the United States, will slowly abandon the slogan of new energy and instead look for a field that my country has not yet made breakthroughs and set new technical barriers. What are the new technical walls of

my country's population accounts for about 31% of its 37 countries and its GDP is 20%, but the number of companies on the top 500 new energy sources is as high as 49%.
On the one hand, it can be said that the development of new energy in my country is in full swing; on the other hand, the current development of new energy is a bit too indirect. We should break through the international market and look for development space overseas.
Otherwise, once these companies are reeling in the domestic market, a large number of companies will face the risk of bankruptcy.
